need to note that the rooms are not of the same size. some rooms we booked were really small (excluding the balcony) that we could not even open up a big luggage. but all the rooms are the same price.

We had the most wonderful view of the old city of Salzburg from our bedroom window. The hotel was in a perfect position right next to the river. The facilities were fantastic and we felt very pampered.

The staff at Hotel Sacher provided the best service I've ever experienced at a hotel. The hotel is truly historical, luxurious, grand and yet relaxing within a perfect location for a city break in Salzburg. The cocktails at the bar are also delicious!

as a resident I expect to have a seat outside available at all times, no breaks - especially, if the sun is out.... after breakfast the luncheon area outside was packed with tourists, no place for us available... no alternative area until 16:00

We noticed a few changes since our last visit. The hotel no longer offers welcome chocolates. Also, our room was missed for cleaning one day because the 'Do Not Disturb' light was accidentally on. We're not sure how that happened.

Everything about the hotel was excellent. It's just a ten-minute walk to the old city center, and it's close to everything you'd want to see. The room was huge and comfortable, on the top floor, with a fantastic view of the castle and river. The staff were super friendly and really helpful, with great local knowledge. The concierge was especially amazing, helping me book restaurants in the hotel and elsewhere, and even arranging for my online coffee order to be delivered to my room. My wife recommended it after staying there three years ago, and we had a memorable time.

River view room with stunning view of the city. Fully loaded with all you might want and more! Hotel bar is absolutely amazing - I will remember sitting there feeling like I had been transported back to a bygone era, whilst sipping schnapps and cocktails…. Please go here and experience it.

The location of the hotel is perfect, and the decor is very beautiful and clean. Breakfast is delicious and the hotel is very accommodating to children. We asked for two rooms near each other and they had no problem.

The breakfast was marvelous! Our first day, Andrea showed us around the buffet and offered us additional courses that were prepared in the kitchen (like Eggs Benedict, omelettes, etc.). The selections were extensive and the food was delicious. My wife admired the jars that are used for cereals, nuts, and other toppings and she was given one to take home. This was one of the best breakfasts we've had in a hotel and the service was outstanding.

While most staff were great, one or two were not so well trained. One sounded shocked when I asked for a Bluetooth speaker, which the hotel itself offered in its info for guests.

The decor is particularly beautiful and has a traditional Salzburg vibe. Had a great sleep in the room. Breakfast was good.

I’m a woman of a certain age, who struggles with modern screens, lighting and coffee machines. Printed directions for impressive coffee maker would be helpful.

The setting on the River and the views of the old town from the Sky Suite are glorious. The staff is warm, thoughtful and well trained.

There are no AC (air conditioning ) at the fitness room. So, It's very unpleasant to exercise without any ventilation! I felt sick. And when there were more than 2 people the quality of the hot air got even worse. Maintenance is urgently needed! This does not match the quality of the hotel.
