Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Reception staff - a wonderful person greeted us upon arrival, made me feel at ease instantly. Apartment was spacious enough, very clean and had everything we needed. The pool was a nice temperature for May while overall it was kind of quiet.

The fly wire screens on the sliding patio doors needed to be replaced by steel security doors . There’s absolutely no protection from intruders from the fly wire screen doors . For safety reasons, at night time we couldn’t sleep with the doors open which made the bedrooms very warm and we needed to turn on the Air Conditioning.
The resort was close to the beach , shops and cafes. It was very clean and neatly presented. The patio area outside our doors was a well used feature . The pool and BBQ area was the feature of the property - a beautiful tropical area.

We got an apartment next to pool and BBQ, a bit noisy with kids during the day and with adults chatting, thankfully that was one evening only.
Lovely, large and comfortable apartment, spacious balcony, close to town and the beach. Nice pool and spa and communal BBQ, as well as individual BBQ on the balcony.

The accommodation and area around it was what we had hoped for. No negatives except we were on the 3rd floor and had to walk up the steps. We are in our late 60’s and it would have been good to have a choice of levels.
The location was very central, shops and cafes next door. Beach a 5 minute walk and a beautiful pool to swim in at the accommodation

The place is a bit outdated, and we were there in the off-season, which made it feel quite empty. Cleanliness was an issue—there was dust on surfaces in the bathroom, and the kitchen wasn’t clean either. We had to wash the dishes, cutlery, and even the fridge before using them, which shouldn’t be necessary. Check-in after 4 PM can be tricky, as the reception isn’t staffed in the evening. There’s a button to call for help, but the main issue is the check-in instructions—they were hidden somewhere in the middle of one of several long emails from Booking.com. It’s easy to miss, and even the staff admitted that many guests overlook it. If you arrive after 4 PM, double-check all your emails carefully, because the instructions are there somewhere. Also, the name “Beach Club” is a bit misleading—it’s not directly on the beach, though it’s within walking distance. Overall, it was okay for a short stay, but with better cleanliness and clearer communication, it could be much better.
The location is convenient, just a short walk from the beach, and the apartment setup was practical, especially with the kitchen if you want to cook for yourself. In the end, everything worked out with check-in, and someone was available nearby to assist when we needed help.

Parking was very tight.
