Restaurant opening hours was very limited. Games room needs an update.

The location was lovely. Very private accommodation. Happy to adjust for us

Katelyn was absolutely amazing...looked after us so well...mad us feel comfortable and nothing was too much for her. Impressed by the venues quality of food and service. Our cabin was super cosy...plenty of space and the fire kept us suitably warm.

A little dark in the living areas and seating is a bit disconnected for a group of four. But these are minor gripes in an otherwise very enjoyable stay.

A very peaceful spot. A pretty drive in on a good gravel road. Loved the walks we did from our accommodation. The beds were very comfy and good shower.

Some basic repairs to rooms need to be completed

Peaceful, feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere and can completely relax. It’s so nice to just wonder to the lodge to have a relaxing meal to end and start the day.

Noisy at night. Could clearly hear guests when loud which caused a poor sleep on some nights

Luxuries inside the cabin such as the bathtub and massage chair as well as the natural ambience of the setting and beautiful verandas overlooking the trees

Great location. Nice food. Friendly staff. Only let down was the noisy kids next door and the bed shaking whenever neighbours moved.

The access to the hotel, mainly gravel road with limited reflectors along the road. Too dangerous to drive after dusk. Wifi available at hotel reception/main lobby only. Restaurant food serving quite slow.

    Bathroom with Jacuzzi.

My only mention would be that because of the remote location, access to phone signals and their wifi is more limited than less remote areas. The main reception building that has the dining room, is where wifi is strongest. This shouldn't be a concern for most guests, as the purpose of a retreat is to escape the trappings of the outside world 😊

The secluded, quiet stillness of the location made the experience peaceful. The gravel drive to the retreat was surrounded by forest and lovely views. We also appreciated the warm welcome from the staff, and the chef who was happy to be inclusive & accommodating of people who have food intolerances. There is a clear sense of community in this place, and it added to the experience we had. The cabin and the dining room were lovely and cosy. This location also is around 30min give or take away from the Cradle Mountain National Park and it's walks.

Wonderful location, charming lodges, would have been nicer if a fire had been put on in lodge as it was really cold when we arrived. Cheerful staff. Watching Pademelons and Possums being fed at night was an extra treat.

There were no cooking facilities in our room and the meals in the restaurant were below average. There were no other options but to eat at the lodge restaurant as too far and too difficult a road to drive out. $59 for minimum two courses. The cabins are on stilts and we felt quite a bit of movement when people walked around (or rolled over in bed!). Fortunately, no one was in the cabin adjoining ours.

It was a peaceful bush setting with walks directly from the Lodge. Three walks rated as easy and two rated as hard, no moderate walks. The room was basic but comfortable with a verandah overlooking the bush. Less tourists than the Cradle Mountain area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We saw pademelons and a juvenile echidna in the wild. Pademelons also come up to the lodge area in the evening when the staff feed them raw vegetable scraps.

We thought there would be a fireplace in the lodge. Was a little disappointed. But otherwise a magical stay

The serenity and the peacefulness. The drive in was a little scary at parts with the narrow road, but luckily we timed it right.
