Bit old school, but I think the whole package was value for money. Pub and bistro downstairs.

The location was superb. Right across from the beach and close to coffee shops. Room was huge and quite comfy. Parking was excellent, plenty of room.

Bathrooms could use a little TLC, but hey as long the rates stay moderate its fine. Nevertheless the WiFi connection MUST be upgraded, on / off all the times especially during evening hours.

Secure parking, great value for the location. Allowed us an early check in after a 6 hour flight delay, so we were able to rest all day. Bar and restaurant adjacent also very good.

Ocean Beach Hotel Review We had a wonderful stay at Ocean Beach Hotel, thanks to its fantastic location and comfortable accommodations. The hotel is situated directly across from Cottesloe Beach, which is exceptionally well-prepared for visitors. The beach features convenient amenities like showers, making it easy to rinse off after swimming in the salty ocean. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. Although the elevator was out of order during our stay, the team ensured our experience was smooth. We arrived very early in the morning and requested an early check-in, but it was too soon. However, we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel, and when we returned in the evening after spending the day at the beach, our bags had already been brought to our apartment. The apartment itself was spacious, comfortable, and offered a partial sea view. There was plenty of room to unpack and settle in, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The only small downside was the lack of basic utensils like knives, forks, and spoons in the drawer, which felt like a bit of an oversight. While the hotel is slightly older, it was quiet, comfortable, and had a pleasant atmosphere. The availability of beach towels was a nice touch, though the provided toiletries were minimal and could be improved.

Sticky furniture, probably the ocean breeze ruined the surface of tables and everything seemed like dirty with kitchen oil. Kitchen was small and minimal, only fridge and kettle and two cups and glasses, nothing else to cook or eat a meal. Bathroom tap had issues with water as it made a really loud noise when opening it, like pump water had severe issues.

Spacious room with a small kitchen and two windows with partial ocean view. Bathroom as well was spacious. Location very nice with parking available down the streets.

The toilet leaked and old pipes and shower hot water systems were loud and creaky during night. Stains on floors and bathrooms not overall clean.

Lift was not working, we were advised in advance and they asked “what level we could manage”. All good, nothing could be changed.

Old building so a little worn Lift not working but we were given a good room on the first floor so wasn’t a problem. Location makes up for it.

We have stayed there numerous times. Great location on the beach. Clean, nice staff, secure parking. Will keep coming back 😊
