Have stayed at this hotel a few times in the past on my way to Queensland and always a pleasure to stay at this beautiful hotel.

there was no parking, it's a very busy pub and there is no parks just for guests. there was a used band aid in our bathroom when we entered also but was able to find anyone to inform.

the balcony view was amazing and location was ideal.

Our room was not cleaned after the first night - we stayed two nights. That was fine but we needed a top up of milk and the bar staff found us a jug of milk but better if the cleaners had done it.

The location is fabulous. The room is stylish and comfortable.

Some rooms are currently under renovation so it was a little noisy in the morning but we knew that before we booked. This didn’t affect how I rated this property because I’m sure it will be amazing once renovations are completed.

Location is perfect. Short walk to the beach and a couple of little cafes. The Signature room was clean and comfortable with balcony overlooking the beach. Room was on the size of small but very cosy, comfortable bed with oversized comfy pillows, beautiful quality shampoo/conditioner and body wash. Tea & coffee making facility, bottles of water in the fridge, ironing board & iron, wine glasses all available in the room. Absolutely perfect for a couple of nights stay. Bonus having the restaurant downstairs, the meals were wonderful and so was the service. I’d definitely book here again when passing through in the future. I’d imagine this hotel would be very busy during peak times.

When booking I didn’t check for air conditioning. It was a very hot night and the fan in the room wasn’t really up to the job. I also didn’t realise there would be scaffolding obscuring the view. It is stated on the website - I just didn’t see it when I booked

Bit of loud construction going on in the morning and no air con in the bunk room.

Fantastic position. Bunk room was the perfect way to accomodate a group of “kids” visiting for a 21st birthday. Very good value considering the time of year.

unfortunately, room 104 and several of the other signature rooms share a common corridor and stairway with hostel type boarding with multiple people to a room and sharing a common bathroom. The corridor really was dirty and pieces of clothing lying on chairs and on the floor. I’ve taken some photos of some of the water ingress that is occurred and discoloured the painting work in the corridor. I know it must be very difficult to maintain a building like this given its proximity to the sea. The rooms are upstairs from a very popular pub with a band playing which was included in the notes before I hide it. In truth that made no impact on the trip at all. I had a lovely dinner of fish and salad downstairs in amongst all of the crowd and it was fine.

I was in one of the signature rooms 104 and it was really beautifully done. Unfortunately, there was scaffolding outside the balcony where the hotel is undergoing major renovation. There was no work on during the Saturday evening that I was there fortunately. Unfortunately there was ferocious high winds and rain throughout the night which only actually led to the wonder of the experience looking out and seeing the wicked waves pounding in off the coastline metres below.
