AustraliaThe room was not as nice as the photos portrayed it to be however it was functional and clean. Great view from the window and easy check in and out! The building is quite a walk from any nice restaurants (~15min walk) The main issues were with the following: 1. We chose an apartment because we wanted to be able to cook basic things however there was no exhaust and a small portable induction burner with limited supplies to cook. Because there was no exhaust and the apartment is very small, the fire alarm was sensitive and triggered. Reception brought up a handheld fan to help but it still made cooking/heating anything very difficult. 2. The tv was not a smart tv 3. Apartment had poor lighting, especially the bathroom which made it difficult to get ready

The first room had a dirty shower drain, loose toilet seat ready to come off, dirty toilet bowl, loose shower head, no sink plug for the bathroom and kitchen and kitchen spout loose. A very unsatisfactory room which should not have been allowed to be occupied. The second room was much better but only local TV station reception available - very poor, no bathroom or kitchen sink plugged again, air conditioner badly positioned and bed mattress was like a jumping castle.

I called for help on the Friday the lady had my details but accidentally hung up on me and didn't call me back, sounded like she was at a pub and didn't want to deal with it. Maybe time of year. AustraliaThere was no balcony with this room. The washing machine was too high to put the laundry powder in the machine so a stool or chair was needed to facilitate this.The kitchen was below our expectations. The cutlery were all odd pieces as were the glasses and cups! There was no extractor system in the "kitchen" yet a single plug in hot plate was located under the sink unit which we never used! If we had used this hot plate it would most likely set off the Smoke Alarm! The house rules state that the guest has to pay approximately $1500 for the Fire Department call out fee, if a fire alarm is triggered in their room. The second issue I found was that the entrance to this hotel does not have a ramp. The steps are quite steep and we had to struggle with heavy suitcases which was very troublesome and a possible hazard if someone tripped and fell down. We were also obliged to evacuate the building at 3AM due to a smoke detector in a room setting of the fire alarm. We had to wait on the street outside the hotel until the all clear from the Fire Department.
The bed was comfortable and the bathroom and laundry were OK. The washing machine was too high to put the laundry powder in the machine so a stool or chair was needed to facilitate this.
