Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaRoom was quite dark upon arrival and it took a little while to find the lamp switch. regretted not bringing my own pillow, but there were a few options provided to choose from, so that's just my personal preference.
Suite was very spacious. Spa was a perfect treat after a long afternoon walking around the city. Blackout curtains for bedroom did their job. Was surprised at how convenient the location was, especially walking to west end of Perth and Northbridge.

AustraliaNothing.
This little gem is near the Perth Convention Centre, Kings Park, Elizabeth Quay, the train station and ferry terminal. The staff are friendly and the restaurant downstairs have a limited menu but delicious food! The place is clean, basic but very quiet. The balcony is a bonus for fresh air. Definitely will return if I am in Perth again.

IndonesiaIf the laundry room can be opened past 7:00 pm, that would be great! This is not a concern, but sometimes it feels a bit weird to come in and out from the hotel when you have to pass the lively bar at the front door.
I enjoyed my stay at 42 Mount Street. The room is spacious and has all basic cooking utensils. The towels are replaced once in two days. The location is great! Close to my office, Kings Park, Jacob’s Ladder, and CBD. The staff is also really helpful. The perks are the breakfast bar and bookshop at the ground floor. Definitely will stay again!

AustraliaThe room was spacious and nice having a balcony for some outdoor space. The location was great. A very short walk across the foot bridge and you’re in the city with access close by for all the CAT (free) buses which gets you all around the city. Lastly the Cafe downstairs serves great coffee and a creative and tasty menu. Went back for the Chilli Crab Scramble eggs twice.

United KingdomTo be fair it was bank holiday weekend while we were there, however we did have to ask for the mid week room clean that didn't happen midweek. However the staff were lovely, apologetic and got straight to it.
Location is superb. Kings Park is just up the hill & is beautiful. Close to CBD district, 20 min walk to the train station and teh cafe downstairs was amazing with a lovely atmosphere.

AustraliaLighting in the main room; Lack of grab rails in the shower (floor was slippery so we needed to be extra careful); Prolonged fan noise in the bathroom was annoying; Cleaners carts taking up space in the corridors (suggest, because there were also shopping bags hanging from the side of the carts, they be trained to place their carts vertically/or partially vertically in the doorway to the unit they're cleaning rather than taking up all the space which prevents guests from walking through to the lift/exit).
Location excellent - King's Park our back door and the CBD our front door. Loved walking daily in both locations as well as riverside. Also liked the accessibility to public transport when we were going further afield. Balcony with the sound of native birds and aroma of native trees. Cafe/restaurant with excellent staff - only went there twice in two weeks but it's a bonus and our local family/friends had visited/were aware of it.
