This place was absolutely as described and met all expectations.

Rustic and simple but absolutely lovely. I had just transferred from a soul-less 5 star resort hotel with rude staff and this was the perfect antidote. Relaxed, very friendly, a one minute stroll to a secluded part of the beach. A nice outdoor area to sit and work or relax. I am happy walking and I walked into town along the beach most evenings (20 mins to the nearest restaurants, 45 mins for those further down near the strip. However it is hot and humid and so you might want to have a rental car or use taxis. During the day I picked up one of the loungers and headed to the beach to read and swim.

This is great accommodation if you don’t want to be a part of the mass resort vibe, but want access to what’s on offer. We Loved having our own outdoor area and kitchen - which was great to unwind in. The location is good - access to the beautiful beach, the restaurants and casinos just a short walk along the road. The pool was perfect for a mid-afternoon dip.

Just by Ritz and Marriott a walk seconds across to the beach ... very safe ... more of an island stay than a hotel like stay ... home like ... full of people whom had stayed for years ... Anna in the office is a doll and the manager Wilson is very helpful and is there on site for caring for clients at all times ... truly one of the islands best kept secrets !!! A must to try ...

Nothing! You do need a car, at least for some of the time, as there are no shops or restaurants within easy walking distance, although there is a bus service that runs regularly just outside on the main road. If you're hiring a car, book in advance if you don't want to pay double!

Wonderful location at the quiet far end of Palm Beach away from the big hotels and closer to the quiet northern beaches that offer fantastic snorkelling. The atmosphere was so friendly and relaxed and we were made to feel so welcome by Wilson and Ana who were always there to help if we needed anything. The little pool is perfect for dipping in after a day snorkelling off Malmok or Boca Catalina beaches or for sitting around with a drink and a book. It's a short drive or a 20-minute walk to Malmok beach where you can find turtles (if you keep away from the tourist boats) and loads of amazing fish and sea creatures. A drive up to the California Lighthouse and Faro Blanco restaurant to enjoy the sunset is unmissable. If you want to enjoy all the beauty that Aruba has to offer but don't like crowds and big hotels, this wonderful place is for you.

Aruba is extremely expansive! It was the best price I could find at the last minute and it was perfect for resting and relaxing. It is just a little dated but everything worked and it was super clean! Anna and Wilson were amazing host for a solo female traveller!

All it needs is a mini market and a couple of restaurants or bars in easy walking distance. If you're the sort of people who don't like to hire a car, your options are very limited if you stay here but can be done all the same.

Unique place to stay, great if you want a more independent relaxed vibe rather than a resort. Great location for Malmok beach, only 15 minute walk. A car is required for Aruba im general but it's possible to walk 20/30 mins along the beach to town and a few beach restaurants. Lovely dipping pool and great seafront/sunset view. Very grateful for the quiet relaxed vibe.

Unfortunately I came home with a ton of mosquito bites..

It was very quiet and peaceful. Ana and Wilson were very helpful and kind. The owners were wonderful Good location. Ana left me a wonderful Christmas jar of delicious chocolates.. Loved the daily visits from the cats :) I will be back!! Thank you.

The staff were great, the location was perfect. This is a casual place right across the street from the beach. The walk to the resorts was 10 minutes. We loved the outdoor kitchen and living area.

Good location in a quiet place. Walk 10 minutes to busy Palm Beach. Great atmosphere, Ana and Wilson were helpful with any request, including arranging car hire, airport transfers etc. The accommodation is self-catering, the small kitchen was fully equipped, the large fridge with a separate freezer was a surprise. Pleasant living area in the outdoor covered patio. Possibility of grilling. The bedroom is large enough, the bathroom with a shower is adequate. Small pool available, but adequate and clean. The accommodation is a pleasant counterpoint to huge hotels with all inclusive and lots of staff.

Bedroom would have stayed cooler with a door rather than curtain, but at night it was fine.

Rustic, tropical vibe, outdoor kitchen. Excellent location walking distance to palm beach, kite surfing and snorkeling at malmok.
