Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There is nothing about the hotel which needed changing.
The staff were very welcoming. they offered a shuttle service which was very welcome. The breakfast was tasty and plenty to chose from.

I loved the Family owned atmosphere. The communication and comfort of guest was most valued to the establishment. I was personally made breakfast and felt that the environment was safe as the key card not only opened my door but the entrance door.

Amazing young owners. Family atmosphere. Room was comfortable, breakfast testy and free parking. Very close to this place is amazing Irish restaurant. I recommend to visit it.

Dispite technical issues during the stay, the hotel was good and the staff was very helpful. The recommendation to visit restaurant named RoJo's Flavours near by was wonderful exerience.

Very friendly and helpful staff despite late arrival. Suggested a local restaurant for some food despite the late hour. Called ahead and arranged it for me. Nothing was too much trouble.

The bed/mattress was really hard!
Super friendly and helpful staff. Large room upstairs with private balcony. Free reliable wifi, good breakfast. Not too noisy despite traffic.

The owner of the Hotel was there and nothing was too much, Extremely helpful and friendly. . The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well.

the breakfast was poor. the bread was hard. there were no plates so we had to take the serving plates in which the bread was presented. It smelled like cigarettes in the breakfast room. The room itself: poor lighting. The bathroom tap was poorly hanging on the wall. The mirror was dirty. You could hear everything from the other rooms

Wouldve loved a kettle and tea/coffee in room. But tea/coffee was available if requested.
Lovely chap caters our needs. He met us at door and was very chatty and friendly. Room clean and tidy. Continental breakfast but offers eggs any way. Bar and coffee anytime. Honestly lovely stay

No option to eat in evening No bar Breakfast room very untidy in morning
The location was good near to local business centre Impossible to get anything to eat in the evening although I was told that the husband of the couple who owned the hotel “might be able cook something when he arrived back, usually between 7.30-8pm” There was a vending machine in reception but only stocked with a few drinks and bags of crisps Luckily I was with a car so could drive to the next town where I found somewhere to eat. Breakfast was a continental offering , I was last down and every table covered with plates, cups, food remnants & crumbs….had to clear a space. Only drink options a water machine & an old coffee machine

The staff was very helpful and extremely kind. We went to a music festival nearby and stayed in the hotel for two nights. The owner was very kind. He checked us in very quickly, gave us a room with a nice view to the garden, and extended breakfast hours.

GREAT place to stay, comfortable, very clean and tidy. Even better, personnel was very nice, attentive and reactive. our room needed a very minor adjustment when arriving, and despite check in was done quite late, they have been very reactive, professional and did ALL they could have to support our request. It's been a long time I had see such dedication to please customers, it was very very much appreciated. when you integrate the fact the personnel just had a very long and busy day/evening with other customers, they definitively went beyond their core duties for us, and for that, we are very thankful for the service, bedroom and amenities we were able to enjoy during our stay. great breakfast, you can get your eggs the way you want ! We have only tasted a small part of the dinner menu but it was tasty also. what a great experience
