Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

UgandaClean, well-furnished rooms. Food was excellent. When we booked, we had no idea how extensive and beautiful the spa was. At a different hotel on this trip the spa was one small room. At Boetfort...you have an entire field outside of the enormous spa and sauna facilities. Truly surpassed expectations, and they even allowed us early access to the room. Impressed, will definitely return.

United StatesWhere do I start, this hotel could be a 8.5 to a 9 with minimal effort: More than one internet bar in room would have been nice; wall map of sauna/jacuzzi/pool locations; spa locker instructions in several languages would have been nice; having to visit reception desk every morning to get a bar code ticket to open gate to drive car out of parking lot was painful; Room #10 isn't made for tall people, better to be in any other room- not a lot of area to move given room is at end off hall. I’m 186cm and 93kg, not abnormally large (wife is 186cm too)- bed mattress was typical German hard but also slid whenever I moved while sleeping, gotta be an innovative way to stop that. As for staff, called them to locker area at spa twice (from reception area) for locker instructions and then where to put rented robes, had a long conversation with bar staff for location of mine sauna, IR/salt, castle saunas and walking areas. Guessing I had your staff answering my questions for over 20 minutes when simple printed instructions and map would have sufficed. Kudos on staff, smiled and answered my simple questions. My wife and I have been enjoying spa/saunas for over 20 yrs so know what a relaxing, non-judgmental spa/sauna should include, minimally. Knew the deal about local restaurants b4 booking, will need a car (closest restaurant is 10 min drive away) unless you dine at hotel restaurant.
Spa attached to castle area was a 10 and 50% discount after 5pm was a nice surprise. Spa well worth the visit. Plenty of free parking, kudos. Staff very friendly, spoke English. Breakfast was buffet style, typical of a 2 star hotel. Walk to spa, maybe 200m, enjoyable.

SpainI didn't like that room is 200 mt away from Restaurant and Reception but it was a nice walk and key can be left in the room after Check out. I would suggest that guest could have their own robes in case they make use of the spa.
I really liked the environment with the castle and very nice buildings, all so well maintained. Room was a bit small but really clean and full with all needed staff. Food at restaurant was really good and not expensive.

United KingdomOnly small improvement would be to have a shelf in the bathroom and shower so you can add your wash bag / toiletries

United KingdomThe shower would benefit from a shower hose attachment.
We stayed in the new building. It is finished with quality grey stone very similar to the spa in the castle. The room was very clean and it had the bonus of a balcony. The mattress was medium and comfy. Lucky with the sunny weather - almost 20C - we took a small walk to the breakfast.

FranceWe found that having a coffee machine and bottle of water with two glasses in the room would have made the room perfect
We can have dinner at the restaurant in dinner clothing, whereas most wellness restaurants 'imposes' to be in bathrobes Our bedroom under the timber roof was very nice

United KingdomFood was a stress for someone who can not eat Gluten. There was an allergen menu but was look it up yourself by cross referencing two menus and printed so small that even with glasses you struggled to read. Breakfast was limited and had run out of some items when we got there. Again no GF labelling.
Spa is excellent, even though an additional cost to the hotel room. Room had character and spacious. Equipped with all the basic facilities you need whilst maintaining the character of the room in a castle.

SerbiaLocation of standard room is faraway from main building and SPA. Over summer I suppose its not a problem to walk through nice park a bit but during winter to exit hot from SPA - walk to standard room would not be pleasant for sure...However, everything is well explained on hotel website so its in the end matter of choice.
Very nice hotel. I slept 2 days in different rooms (standard & better one). Looks very nice SPA but unfortunately I didn't have time to visit. Excellent breakfast starting in 6,30h-10h which is very good time for everyone. Stuff were very kind and professional and very helpful. I would for sure come again (and hope will have more time to enjoy SPA as well).

ItalyPerhaps the value for money is not the best one I experienced at thermal baths across Europe. For example not that many pools outside, and rather chilly to bath in during Winter (or a cold Summer Belgian day)
It’s a great experience to relax and to escape the Brussels-chaos for a few hours-days. Good selection of saunas and very nice outdoor park.
