Nothing, except that the below level walking route from the station to the hotel is best avoided during the hours of darkness - it doesn’t feel safe due to the number of people sleeping rough. We found the best way from the station to the hotel was to walk across from the main concourse and cross the road/tramway.

Excellent location if travelling by train - only a couple of minutes walk away from the station. Easy 35 minute walk into the city centre (St Alexander Nevsky Cathedral)

The room looked old badly decorated, not clean enough. We found the torn rug in the bathroom - a bit strange in the Best Western chain hotel which we know from other places in Europe. The location is not nice and the access to the restaurants and attractions is about 20-25 minutes walking. The value doesn’t match the comfort at all.

Size of room too small. At the breakfast premise they hurried to take our plates at 9:30 am, while the breakfast is till 10 am.

Location is right beside bus and train station. Not much happening in that area but 20 min walk will bring you to city centre. So that is fine and great value for money

Very convenient for Sofia central railway station. The friend I was with had stayed here before (and had booked before me), so it was recommended to me. Good English spoken at reception. Good buffet breakfast, with usual range of food (including some hot items). I was able to leave my luggage at reception after check-out until I was leaving the city late in the afternoon.

There isn’t much around the area which is fine not really much option for food. Though the city centre is just 2 train stops away

I stayed for only one night because I had a connecting flight in Sofia, but I can say that, overall, the hotel was quite good. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was decent. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the train station and the metro. I managed to reach the airport easily and catch my flight on time without any issues.

Location was brilliant (a couple of minutes walk from Central Railway metro station). The room was clean, had adequate size wise and good water pressure in the shower. The breakfast was also quite good.

It is not in the centre of town and we had to walk a bit, but we were ok as the location near the bus station made it convenient for us travel to Plovdiv and Skopje.

We had a nice welcome to the hotel and excellent inputs from the person at the reception. The excellent Hadjidraganov's Houses Restaurant is just 700m away. The bus stand is just around 5 min away and was very convenient for us as we used the bus from the airport and took the buses to Plovdiv and Skopje from here. All the attractions were within a 30 min walking distance. We got to see the most wonderful sunrise from our room which was on the 5th floor facing the bus stand.

The smoking was really bad on the floor I was staying on. The smell was coming into my room. When I mentioned this when I checked out, I was brushed off by the receptionist as this is normal. If the hotel rooms are no smoking, then why is there smell of cigarettes smoke in my room and in the corridor.

Hotel is good price for its location. You can the tram into the city centre. The rooms are decent. Overall, good value.

There were no particular things that I did not like.

Breakfast was good, and the facilities were also good. In general, the hotel is well located, near the city center and the bus and train terminals, easily accessible by metro. The staff was accommodating and did their best to make our stay as good as possible. In general, the hotel offers great value for money, and I would definitely recommend it.

Very convenient location, close to the central train and bus stations, on the Metro, excellent transport links. Friendly and professional staff. Breakfast was delicious. There was a variety of meals to choose from: cereal, English and continental breakfast, as well as some traditional local food. Coffee was lovely! Thank you.
