Bedrooms were a bit tired - could do with an upgrade. Don't think it was worth the money we spend for two bedrooms B&B for 6 nights.

- This hotel does not deserve 5 star at all. It should be 4 stars the most, maybe 3. - Dinner menu was ok but not great. - Location of the ski room is far away from the lifts. You need to walk there. Walking there with the ski boots is very tiring. - Entrance of the hotel and ski room was not good. - Getting from the closed garage to the hotel and ski room is difficult. - Lady in the lobby counter is not friendly.

There are not family rooms so we split in two rooms.

Hotel is closed to ski areas. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Kids really enjoyed swimming pool and spa facilities. Helpful staff.

The hotel is nice but outdated and the rooms need refresh.

If you are not into a modern style architecture that’s the place: great location, spacious rooms and extremely kind and helpful staff. The breakfast was amazing.

Parking is not included in the room price. There is a daily charge. If you have your own skis and boots you dont need to pay for their storage in the hotel. If you have rented them from somewhere else, you have to pay for their storage in the hotel.

Nice breakfast with many choices. The hotel is close to the slopes. Very nice pool / russian bath / sauna and salt room to relax after skiing. Dido (lifeguard) was always there to help us, to give us a towel and always in a good mood. Excellent the 3 ladies at the reception. Always helpful. Anton was also very kind and helpful. Nice furniture in the rooms.

The staff were fine, but not particularly friendly, although I think part of the problem is perhaps the language barrier...? There were occasions when certain staff members were perhaps a little rude / abrupt....particularly the pool attendant. Overall however, this did not diminish what has been an excellent stay.

We stayed in a maisonette as a family of four - this offered excellent accommodation with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The hotel was clean and comfortable if rather dated, but the location was fantastic - walkable to all slopes and all restaurants etc. The hotel was quiet and breakfast was good. The pool was also fantastic!

The room was huge and the furnishing reflects the outside design of the hotel - it feels like a manor house. Food and service were great, the ski lifts are close, parking is available in the yard. A great place to stay in Borovets!

Breakfast was a disaster - very poor not suitable for 5 star hotel rather 3 star. They have to improve quantity of their breakfast.

The location of the hotel is very good, in the heart of Borovets but at the same time around the forest. Clean fresh air. Good furniture - classic style. Jacuzzi in the room. Hotel upgraded our room with the apartment without additional payment. Swimming pool is nice.

The water in the swimming pool was a bit cold.

We stayed off season, there were almost no other guests, so we probably didn't get the right impression - but on the other hand the price would have been too high. We enjoyed the comfort of the room (we were given a larger room than we payed), especially the bathroom with the jacuzzi was fun. The view and the hotel surroundings are very pleasant. The food was excellent in comparison to other places we visited in and around Borovets.

The spa is good, however the slippers provided have dangerous plastic slippery soles and I slipped on the steps at the swimming pool. The temperature of the room was hot, so we had to sleep with the window open, and various noises outside woke us up in the night.

We got upgraded to a large 'spa apartment' with a Jacuzzi bath and 2 fold-away beds. Plenty of hot water, fruit and wine provided on arrival. Breakfast provided good choice - pancakes, yoghurts, fresh fruit, cold meats/cheeses, hot food (sausages, eggs etc). Location to one of the ski lifts - 50m away.

The stuff in the restaurant wasn’t able to understand our order not in Bulgarian, not even in English. They spoke mainly Russian. Situation I found quite unprofessional. The main restaurant (a la carte) was mixed with the buffet one (the all inclusive) which also also find improper. They was a lot of delay on the dishes. The stuff in the lobby was also quite impolite and slow. The parking was not usable for the hotel guests and you need to manège with the people outside handling the municipal parking.

The stuff on the reception was very helpful & polite. The SPA was very nice and well done .

Some elements of the hotel could do with some maintenance.

The Grace family had a wonderful stay. This is a charming and beautiful full service hotel. It has a wonderful deco and bar and restaurant. I took my children for their 18th and 20th birthdays. The staff helped me throughout my stay. I can highly recommend the restaurant, spa facilities and heros ski hire (internal to the hotel). The pool here is warmer than the Rila. The food here is better then the Rila. The staff are nicer. I will be back again, as this hotel is just away from the main restaurant and bars and as such does not suffer from any noise. Don't delay, book it.
