The rooms need to be completely refreshed and repainted (strong soiling on the walls is noticeable in some places), a functional wardrobe with shelves and hangers (as the one in the room was unusable). Showerhead also needs to be changed. There was mold on the bathroom tiles. I assume that only the sheets were changed before check-in, because behind the door there were broken headphones and a Nurofen hanging out with a certain amount of moss and hair.

Location not far from the center. The air conditioner cooled the room quickly.

Too many steps, no parking.

Perfect location, good A/C, friendly staff. Two issues, it's not disabled-friendly as there are lots of steps. Also, car parking is very difficult.

You could hear the neighbors. They were very noisy at night, woke me up at 5am. That's the only aspect I didn't like. Breakfast is not included.

The room is huge, very comfortable. The two twin beds are pushed together for more comfort. The bathroom is great. Location is central, not far from the Cathedral. AC is good. They accept credit cards. There is a restaurant on site.

Sadly, the hair dryer was out of order. What a shame! I was looking forward to trying out that bad boy (photo included) on my wet unruly mane. Also, due to the leaking shower hose, the water pressure in the shower head was significantly reduced. Oh, a nightclub across from my window created one hell of a ruckus at night.

Overall, my stay here was entirely enjoyable. From the moment I stepped through the door, I felt as though a time machine had sent me straight back to the 1980s, since the architecture, the interior design, and the furniture around me looked so well-preserved and authentic to that era. As a historian, I appreciate this connection to the past. What stories those walls could tell of family vacations throughout the decades! However, I have to mention that there was no shower curtain in the bathroom, so I had fun splashing around to my heart’s content. The staff was quite nice, helpful and friendly. An ethnic-themed restaurant in the basement of the hotel (Balkanska skara) served delicious grilled dishes – a staple of Bulgarian cuisine, to be sure.

furniture in the room was falling apart, I bought the option with the breakfast but in the morning I was told that there is no breakfast on Sundays and they gave me a box with a sandwich of white toast bread with ham and cheese and I had to throw it away as the ham was smelly, it was bad. There was a little bit of tomato and a cucumber in the box, but I couldn't eat that as well as it was in the box with the smelly ham. The receptionist was smoking inside of the hotel at the reception which really surprised me, I think it is very disrespectful towards the guests! Very disappointed!

The only thing I liked was that the mattress was comfortable to sleep and the location was really handy, close to the city center and the beach

DON'T GO THERE The rooms are extremely dirty, mold on the walls, they smell terrible, uninsulated electrical wires, noise from the neighbors through the walls, the Sunday meal is in a casserole, the receptionist is always on the phone, the beds are uncomfortable, the walls are cracked, the floor has been dirty by a long time, dust everywhere, you have no shelves on which to place your luggage, there is no towel or drying rack in the bathroom, the bathroom door cannot be closed, the sheets did not look washed, the curtains are full of dirt, the furniture is damaged and full of stains and dust, no parking place.

Position of the hotel is near centre, at 10 min.
