The hotel is very cozy, with a designer's touch in every aspect of its interior. It feels warm and welcoming, offering good food and exceptionally professional, friendly staff. They even adjusted the breakfast time half an hour earlier to accommodate our early departure.

The quilts weren't big enough for the bed. Huge bed and smaller duvets meant it was a quilt battle every night.

The rooms were beautiful and very clean/comfortable. Complimentary robes and slippers were a nice touch. The food was outstanding and we really enjoyed each meal we had. Great location.

Super place. Loved it!

The staff in Villa Sokol went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and even collected our lost luggage in the nearby town. The food was amazing and the facilities in the hotel were wonderful. Would definitely go back!

Everything was excellent

Hotel is very comfortable, located in a beautiful area within the walking distance from ski lifts and ski pistes. We enjoyed sauna and outdoor jacuzzi and especially the food from the hotel’s restaurant. But the main thing here is extremely friendly staff providing excellent service to hotel’s guests.

I liked everything. I do have one recommendation for the smaller rooms to take out some furniture pieces so it creates more space (e.g., chairs).

Gabriela and Mario were very nice to everyone, always there to help. The Hotel Boutique is looking awesome, from the style and the furniture to the plates. Clearly, it was a great investment. The food is fresh and delicious, the deserts, especially the cake made with yogurt, honey, nuts, and blueberries!!! 🤩🤩🤩 the ladies from cleaning did their job very well. I totally recommend this hotel boutique, very cozy, clean, beautiful and the food very tasty.

Hotel wise nothing - all very good. It is a little way out from the actual resort and slopes etc. 20 min walk in normal shoes -without snow or ice! if that's an issue you can get a taxi for 20 Lev to anywhere in the resort

A group of 8 of us stayed at Villa Sokol and loved it. Everyone commented on how fantastic the accommodation was. Gabriela and Mario were perfect hosts who ensured we had everything we needed. Rooms were exceptional for a skiing holiday, very clean, comfortable beds, powerful showers, cleaned every day - superb! breakfast was good with a selection of cereals / meats / cheeses and hot food selection. Evening meals very good too. Some of the group made use of Sauna and loved that being available.

Not nearby the slopes / lift

The walk to the slopes was tiresome, ( up hill all the way / 15min) so a shuttle bus would be an idea, as a taxi was around £10 each way. Only real thing that we would recommend, would be to have a few more ''child'' friendly food options for breakfast and dinner - , Better choice of Bread /Chicken nuggets / Chips / Beans etc.

I stayed her with my family for a week of Skiing. The hotel was lovely, modern, warm, and with the most comfiest bed and pillows! The staff were super lovely ( especially Mario and Gabriella) nothing was too much trouble for them. I even received a call on the day of our arrival because we were late, asking if we wanted dinner kept open. The hotel has a lovely jacuzzi ( that you have to book) because the water is fresh for you, but lovely - just what you need after a days skiing. The hotel also offered a mini bar, where we had a few drinks that were free ( if not all of them)? I would recommend this hotel for comfort, was like home from home. We even sat and watched movies on our last night, picking our favorites from netflix and relaxing on their sofa's!

As we were half board we had breakfast and evening meal most days and although the quality and presentation was great, we found some combinations of the limited mains with accompanying sides a bit odd for our UK palate. It's an intimate buffet type service, rather than having a wider selection cooked to order, which would have been preferable for our family of 5. Not a complaint, more of an observation... may well suit others.

A jewel in otherwise modest accommodation in Borovets. The staff we spoke with (Mario and Gabriella) were very helpful but not intrusive. The styling, ambience and presentation of this boutique hotel was exceptional. Yes, it's a little more expensive than the massive anonymous hotels slightly closer to the slopes but only 8 minutes or so to the gondola station as an example. For once, photos on booking.com were an accurate reflection of the accommodation. A great experience and highly recommended.

This is for improvement rather than “what we didn’t like”…There is no soap dish/ holder in shower cubicle and the door in our bathroom doesn’t close. For sure if we ask for it, it will be given/ fixed but we did not.

3 things we love most (not in particular order): (1) the interior design. They are exceptional- as if we are staying in our own bedroom as decorations are like home. (2) the staff- anna and especially iliyan who is so attentive, accommodating and showing how he loves and dedicated to his job. (3) the delicious breakfast and dinner.

The place itself was amazing, the location was perfect, very quiet and close to the center and ski slopes. The room was very nice and cleaned everyday. Last but not least the food in the hotel restaurant was exceptional. Also, huge Thank You to Anna and Iliyan also for making our stay so special, they are great professionals.

An excellent boutique hotel amidst nature, quite close to the ski slopes. The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable with a nice design and different amenities. Also, the food is excellent. Thank you very much for the beautiful stay and excellent service, especially Anna and Iliyan!!

Everything was good. Maybe the opportunity to have a second key card for the rooms would be nice, but that's a very small thing.

This place was great! The staff is super friendly, the hotel lounge is very cozy and invites you to relax. The food was very good, this definitely exceeded our expectations. The sauna is nice. Location is quite good if you leave your skis in a locker at a rental place (easy to fix). All in all a great stay.
