Beautiful pool area and pool bar

I wish the breakfast had a few vegan options like some vegan buttery spread, a milk alternative, or cheez. But there was so many things, it was easy to find something good for vegans. It would also be nice if the pool and bar area were open later into the evening, they are only open 10am-6pm.

We arrived at the hotel at about 10pm at night and it was super easy and fast to check in and get to our room. There was a small shop right next door to get some beverages and snacks at that hour, which was good because it felt a little unsafe to walk too far in the neighborhood. It was a Saturday night and it was very busy in the area. We had a king size bed which was super comfortable. The AC worked great and the breakfast in the morning was nice. Unfortunately it was rainy and cold when we were there so we didn't get to use the pool but it looked beautiful. We were also able to leave our luggage in a locked room until 5pm on our checkout day which was great!

The location was central and good for utilising uber to get to main points, but it didn't feel like there was much within the general area.

The room was very spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly on front desk and in the restaurant. The pool was nice with plenty of sunbeds.

Everything was rather good.

The position at the city center and not far from the Metro is excellent. Furthermore, the Hotel is very close to many restaurants and bars. The rooms are very big and comfortable. If you don't want to walk to the sea, you can use their swimming pool

We loved the look and feel of the hotel. It was spotlessly clean, the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The pool area was lovely too.

The staff was kind but quite uninterested. 15 minutes before the official check-in time, they made me wait. Before arriving, I wrote that the check-in day was my wife's birthday and asked if they could prepare a bottle of sparking wine in the room. I'm still waiting for an answer today. The power adapter was also an insoluble problem for the staff.

The location is good, of course you have to be careful when going out on the street, especially in the evening, it's not Santa Teresa! Great pool, you can always find a place on the sun loungers. Breakfast is good, appropriate for the status of the hotel.

the only thing that really annoyed me was that it's impossible to do your make up properly. the bathroom didn't have a make up light so it was incredibly dark, and the make up mirror was screwed on so high it was difficult to angle it properly - and I'm 5"9'! The hotel would be perfect if they fixed this.

the breakfast selection was the best thing about this hotel. also, we arrived early but they were able to check is in early as they had available rooms which was SO appreciated! friendly staff!

A wonderful hotel in the heart of the city of Rio. The personnel is very friendly, always willing to help. Cozy environment with great decoration. Very good breakfast with many different and tasty choices.

Like: facilities, breakfast, service. Dislike: broken hair dryer, no iron & iron table, no soap and conditioner available. The shower misses a little shower douche. There is no coffee machine in the room.

Some of the staff could not answer or were not sure about question of places around the hotel. When I asked a staff at the counter how to get to Largo da Carioca he answered “I am not from here” I could not believed since Largo da Carioca is the center of the downtown in Rio. Most of the staff Sean not to be familiar with places around the hotel.

Soma of the staff is nice, others not so nice (such as the night staff in the restaurant - don’t ask questions to the hostess, she can be rude as if unwillingnto talk to you. Walls can be thin ang the cleaining staff chatty and noisy very early in the morning!

Very comfortable bed, great shower, great location near several attraction, it doesn’t feel as if you’re in the coty center. Breafast has a lot of options.

The location - Lapa is dirty and dangerous with rubbish and filth piled up in the streets with roads and pavements poorly maintained, with many rough sleepers in the streets, beggars and thieves at certain times of the day - its certainly not a safe place to be wandering around on your own at night nor at certain times of the day over the weekend, especially on a Sunday afternoon when there seems to be a lack of police in this part of the city. While the food options at breakfast are good there is inadequate staffing in the restaurant to make this an entirely pleasant experience with tables un cleared, queues for cooked food, and often unreplenished seed service plates and coffee. Pity.

The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and good a/c. The setting within the hotel is lovely with a great swimming pool and lounge beds around. Competitive price.
