However, the place feels a bit neglected. I booked it expecting the hot tub to be larger and located outside—not in the bathroom—as shown in the photo. The room didn’t look like the one in the pictures. The TVs didn’t work, they couldn’t connect to the internet, and there were no public channels or anything else to watch, just the sea to look at.

I liked the view of the lake, and you can tell it used to be a very beautiful place. The room was nice, and I didn’t expect it to have two levels, which was a pleasant surprise.

When we arrived, the TV in our room was not working. Staff quickly moved us to another room where everything was good. Next day however the second room's TV failed. I believe the network was satellite which can be chronically undependable when snow covers the dishes.

Restaurant served spectacular meals every dinner we ate there. Once we ate there, we kept eating there as the food was so good. The steak was so good my wife had it twice. The lamb was the best I have ever eaten, so tender that it was served with a bread knife as nothing heavier was necessary. Vegetables cooked with just the right amount tenderness.

I arrived in the dark. It is a large resort with many lodges and cottages. It was a bit difficult to locate which was my lodge. It was deserted and dark and a bit scary. My room was comfortable and quiet. The wear on the room is indicative of a summer family resort , with sand on your feet and kids playing, it's fine , it was nice to envision the happy family times there during the summer.

This was a large family room , it had a full bed, plus 2 bunk beds and an empty loft area for more sleeping. TV, lounge chairs, fridge, microwave, coffee, everything I need for a comfortable work stay. Super quiet , as I was there off season. Would be an excellent family vacay ,as it's right on lake Ontario with a nice beach. I could hear the waves crashing from my bedroom. There is a lot to do on the resort during the summer season, with restaurants, kids area's, bbq's and activities. A great get away resort .

Room was a bit tired and the carpets have seen better days. The room had A slightly musty odor. It did dissipate after I opened the windows.

Location was superb. Food was delicious and bar/restaurant service was friendly.

Room needed a little maintenance some things like ceiling fan were a bit worn out.

Beautiful location. I loved sleeping with the windows open in the beach front room and sitting out on the patio watching the lake. Bed was comfortable to sleep in as well. Plenty of space. Front desk staff were welcoming and friendly.

Our bathroom was tiny and needed updating.

The second bed was on its own floor with its own bathroom. Perfect for a couple plus a friend. Loved spending time on the beach. There is a pool but unfortunately we didn’t know about it until we were leaving.

First time guest ... dud not realize the distance between activity sites. Very challenging for a pair of 80+ yr Olds with mobility challenges. Reduced participation and needed to drive to and from The Knoll. Maybe an offer of Golf Cart service could be an optional service support.

Coffee pods in the room are terrible, everything is a bit worn, thin walls, and the room for 3 adults had 2 bunkbeds that could use duvets instead of sheets and old blankets

Lovely location, great mix of rooms and cottages, lotsa stuff for kids, affordable (for PEC) and happy the staff supplied water and ice because of high nitrate levels in the tap water

The lack of cleanliness on the kids module next to the primary lodge, it was full of spider web and spiders and we can tell it hasn't been cleaned in a while.
