A very luxurious hotel. We love our ocean view room. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The Snug Pub food is delicious. The mineral water pool is warm and the ocean view is fantastic. We are planning to go back soon.

Nothing really, although we did get spammed by the hotel quite a bit in the run up to our stay via email and at one point we got a fraudulent email asking us to pay additionally to confirm our visit.

The mineral spa is amazing! We loved the snug too. Beautiful place to relax and stunning sun rises.

the only thing I can find fault with is the fact that my room, which was on the ground floor, had access to the terrace, and the terraces were connected to other rooms. the neighbors next door sat on the terrace until late at night and talked loudly, so it was impossible to sleep with the balcony open. after closing the balcony door it was quiet. and one more small thing - at breakfast the avocado toast was served on toasted bread and not on normal bread - I don't like toasted bread so I would prefer normal bread, like we have in Europe. in the bathroom there was a shower and a big bathtub. There was sea salt for bathing by the bathtub, which was very nice. If a sponge was included in this set, it would be perfect!!! these are of course details - the hotel, swimming pools, terrace, the view (with Orcas!), interior of the rooms, lobby - everything at a very high level. the service was very nice and professional.

Food servers in Faro and pub (and hosted for pub) need more training and supervision so they are more attentive and welcoming. Faro seemed short staffed and poorly managed. Food at Faro was mixed.

We realize it seldom get warm in Victoria, but during the heat wave the A/C was not operating efficiently to keep the room cool.

Fantastic five star facilities. The surrounding neighborhoods were fantastic. Staff was on top of it. Spa was superb.

Pillows - would love mix of firm pillows and feather especially for us older folks w bad backs.( I asked for some in initial booking).

Staff - especially concierge he so kind and patient and tries to remember names. Then the older valet guys are amazing. Lastly the late night poolside gal was so sweet and helpful too. Mineral Pools and Location- are amazing, would like a tad hotter or option for one hotter. Room layout, firm beds, heated tiles, real creamer in fridge, qtips...you think of everything!!!

Parking is an additional fee ($25 per day) Pool and hot tuns busy in the afternoon and evenings, first thing in the morning is the best time if you want some space.

Lovely old style hotel at Oak Bay (a few miles from Victoria centre) Great views out to Sea over the islands to Washington State Hot pool swimming pools and hot tubs. Staff really nice Hotel very grand - with wooden panelling everywhere Lovely bar overlooking the sea

Was a bit of a drive from the main restaurants and shopping so required getting an Uber or taxi if you didn’t have a car.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful amenities. A great place to relax and enjoy the scenery of the island. Comfortable rooms with plenty of space. The mineral pools were fantastic.
