Having grown up in this town, this motel was always one I liked for its location. We have stayed there twice now. It is old and somewhat outdated, but our rooms were clean, and the owner was very accommodating. He is renovating the rooms as needed.

The room and overall facility could have been better maintained and cleaner.

Riverside location was nice but the room offered to us smelled like smoking so we had to get another one on the parking lot side.

Restaurants and facilities a car ride away. Walking neighbourhood was not friendly or attractive. Restaurants we were recommended were not open. Everything shut down early in Blind River, not welcoming for visitors pulling in after a long drive.

Friendly staff, adequate, clean and comfortable room. We had a great visit to the Public Library, the only thing open on Main St. as well as a bar. The librarian was super friendly and told us tales about visitors to the library and what she offers in services. She also explained that the local restaurants were closed but recommended one within driving distance. It did serve good food but closed early. Visit the library if you're there - you'll find a friendly librarian!

Grass was not cut. Room was very small for the price which was high. Pet room = worst view. Don’t mind paying a pet fee but feel 20.00 each for our two dogs is too much.

Great location. Don’t expect to much, pretty much standard fare for Blind River, ON. Staff was responsive to additional requests. One block from Main Street and Timmy’s.

The description said Seaview...I didn't realize there was a second building that was not on the "river"... if you stood by the window and looked left, you could see the water... personally I think this was false advertisement

Rundown. AC didn't work, TV had very limited channels and the cost was very high for what you were getting.

I booked a king sized bed with a water view. I got a queen sized bed with a parking lot view and the dead bolt on the door didn’t work. We had a porch and the neighbor took our chair, so we could not use the porch.

It was clean and newly updated and our room was on the first floor.

The room we stayed in was old and hadn’t been updated in any way. The bathroom door didn’t close fully. The main door was off kilter. Air conditioner unit only worked part way through the night. The property required further care.

The highlights- the hotel is by the water with a wonderful view. They allowed our dog to come for a small fee. There is a Tim Hortons across the road. Convenient location right on trans Canada. They had cable TV. The staff was friendly at check-in.

It was an older place, and I believe that there are long term renters living there. It’s super bright in your room, as if it’s daylight, but it’s the security lights shining from the parking lot. There was no hair dryer, and TV didn’t work, but staff did come to room to attempt to get it going.

Easy to get to, it’s on the river, but you have to walk to see it.

Noisy neighbors. Not decorated at all. Old. Needs updating. The dogs cost $60.00 and yet there wasn't much harm they could do in the room; nor did they.

Over charged me by 10x, and took forever to get my money back. Not very clean, didn't come and change the sheets, garbage etc. was there for 6 days.

I was put in a room between construction crew rooms. They were loud and smoked cigarettes and weed and that went into my room. The room smelled like it had been a smoking room.

I like the water. The close proximity to good restaurants. Easily accessible from the highway

For the price they charge they could invest in some decor and new blankets. Everything from the blankets to the pictures was from the 60's.
