Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaI knew the room would be small but didn't realize there was no exterior window. Instead there is a window to a stairwell. The tv is mounted to the ceiling and has a green light that shines when turned off. Overall the room felt stuffy, unsafe, and too uncomfortable to sleep. The rooms are very much not sound proof. I couldn't find the luggage storage and the information on the app suggested it was not actually onsite and was not free. Overall, despite the location this place is not worth the price.
The location is fantastic and the rooms are very clean.

CanadaThe room was very small but very functional - good for one night but would want more room if staying longer.
The hotel was centrally located and with good parking right across the street. Lots of restaurants in the area. easy to access the hotel and our room with the Sonder app.

United StatesLots of attempts to charge more. $62 CAD for a room cleaning, significant late checkout/early checkin fees, had a difficult time getting their online check-in to work, especially as foreign traveler without WiFi.
Room was small but well-designed. Check-in and check-out was easy, we did not encounter any staff. Room was clean.

United KingdomI booked last minute (2 hours) before arrival & it took over 1 hour 30 to get into the room as they hadn’t sent me the check in details.
The room was cosy, clean and perfect for a good nights sleep.

United KingdomWould probably say there needs to be a reception so that you can check in and out in person but not the end of the world. Showers only seemed to get hot in the morning and not at night

AustraliaThe room was very small which was fine for a one night stay but would have been constricting for more. The stairs were really steep.
It was clean and quite central. They had a lift which was good for taking luggage up and down.

CanadaThe bed was terribly uncomfortable. Like when I say uncomfortable, it’s the worst bed I’ve ever slept on in my life. I was staying with a friend on an air mattress and I opted into a hotel for a night in the fifty to sleep comfortably in a bed and I totally regret it lol. I should have cabbed back to his place and saved $250
I really enjoyed the property honestly.

United StatesExplaining the check in process, didn’t know if I needed a smartphone or a code for a keypad or what. (A code is emailed to you and you use this on the keypads, pretty simple) Elevator use was only when you had luggage, booking process should have indicated if you have a problem with stairs and need to be on a low floor. Not having a front desk or anyone physically there. You must have a cellphone to call the Sonder helpline if you have any problems.
Location is great. Ice cream parlor on ground floor- has deli sandwiches, some baked goods and drinks as well. Mini fridge, coffee maker and kettle, ironing board, hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower. Good a/c.

United KingdomThe shower water took 10 minutes to heat up so do factor that in to your morning timings. They explained that it's because it's an old building. The lift (elevator) wasn't accessible at certain times of day which was tricky with luggage.
Great location, I found it easy to navigate to from Pearson Airport. The street has lots of nice shops and there's a brilliant ice-cream place right downstairs. I did some shopping in a local vintage shop and a few other places and ate in a great local pizza place. The room was very cool and made clever use of the space. Easy to connect to the free WiFi, good TV choices and you could log in to your own Netflix etc. Good AC, good blackout curtains. I loved the design of the bathroom and everything was spotless.

CanadaThe air conditioner or some other machine in the room was LOUD. I couldn’t figure out what it was to turn it off. It would rattle a little every once in a while but then stage 2 started on the machine and it would shake the door and be heard by my friends when I was on phone calls. Got no sleep because it woke me up every hour. Bring earplugs, white noise machine, and sleeping pills if you want to sleep.
Location was good and lots of communication around check in and check out procedures. Comfortable bed and pillows. Room was small but adequate.

CanadaAir conditioning was extremely loud. Our access code did not work for our room when we arrived around 7:30pm, and we had to wait outside the room for 20 minutes getting ahold of support and waiting for help, but Daniel came quickly and was very helpful, giving us an emergency fob for access. The thing we really didn't like was no window to outside! I attached a photo of our "view", there is a "window" that faces about 10 inches away from an interior wall. Made the already small room feel even more claustrophobic. When asked if the property met our expectations I am only given the option of Yes, No, and Exceeded. I chose Yes, but given the expensive price I would put it somewhere in between Yes and No, or "Not for the price I paid".
Location was great. Daniel was fantastic, accommodating our late check out request and being there when we had an issue. Room was clean and modern. Bed was comfortable and had a Nespresso machine which was really nice.

United StatesNo emergency lighting in the hallways when the flooding caused a neighborhood power outage. This is a terrible safety hazard and probably illegal. During the power outage the door locks malfunctioned and I could not access my floor or my room. The morning after the power outage I had no hot water!!!
