Finding a parking spot is sometimes very challenging. Consider paying for Manor or Migros garage as a temporary option. The rooms are relatively small for the price. The bed could be softer.

There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom, which we also noticed in some other hotels in Europe. But for a bathroom to be shared with 2-4 people, and with no window in the bathroom, ventilation becomes a challenge!

The one bedroom apartment is small but very well equipped with good quality appliances, kitchen utensils, and bathroom supplies. We especially like the roof top patio which is furnished with comfortable lounges, tables and super size umbrellas. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is excellent- only a few mins from the train station.

The gym was smaller than expected, but they have the essentials — cardio, weights, bench, pilates ball and mats. Unfortunately, the sauna didn’t work when I wanted to use it — looks great though! The soundproofing wasn’t great… I could hear stomping every night and luckily had ear plugs.

Very spacious hotel apartment with comfy bed, good kitchen for cooking and free coffee capsules daily. It’s conveniently located near the metro and bus stops. It’s near a Manor mall if you want to buy groceries. About 8mins from the hotel is also an Asian grocery called Ly Thanh Sàrl. Breakfast bag was nice value and the laundry facilities were great! Don’t forget to try their refreshing lemon water fizz again the reception!

Everything was stunning. some people might dislike the river side, as with open window, the falling water might be pretty loud

We were disappointed to discover the roof terrace closed in the evening.

We had an incredible stay at Base Vevey and loved everything about it. The staff was friendly, the location was excellent, and it was close to everything. The hotel offers great amenities like bike rentals, a free public transport pass, a roof terrace, and more. Our room was a decent size, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. We highly recommend this place!

Everything was great. I didn't have very high expectations for Vevey, but I completely fell in love with it, and one of the reasons is definitely Base Vevey. First of all, from the moment we checked in, all the staff were very kind. It was a kindness that went beyond mere professional courtesy and gave us a pleasant and touching feeling. Thank you to the staff member who talked about the locations from 'Crash Landing on You' while making small talk and mentioned liking K-dramas; your warm welcome was appreciated. The facilities are well organized and have very thoughtful details. I highly recommend it to those who want the cleanliness and service of a hotel but also the comfort of home like an Airbnb.

It would be nice to have dedicated place to hang coats in the room, and not in a closet. Especially in rainy weather.
