Staff don't man the front desk 24/7 which was not a big deal because they respond quickly if you email them. It's Europe people smoke everywhere. Every night, we could smell cigarettes from the people next to us smoking on their balcony. This was with our windows closed. The hotel is old but serves its purpose. I also didn't like that the restaurant downstairs had such easy access to the actual hotel.

The location was great. Only a 5min walk from Interlaken West train station and a 10min walk from Interlaken Ost train station. Right off the main street where you can find all your shopping and the bus stop.

For us there are two downsides. Since the hotel is located on a street closed for traffic, the parking spaces are located a bit far from the hotel about 5 minutes walk. Also, there is no elevator.

We booked a room with private bathroom (not all rooms have this options). The place is central in Interlaken, close to the train station. The room was clean and had enough towels for us. The balcony is small, but so nice to see the sun rise during Spring. Staff is friendly and speaks English, German and Spanish.

I recently stayed at this hotel on Main Street in Jungfraujoch, and it was a fantastic experience. The location is perfect, surrounded by plenty of restaurants, making it easy to find great dining options. However, the highlight is the hotel’s own Mexican restaurant, which is the only one of its kind in the area. The restaurant is extremely popular, so I highly recommend making a reservation in advance. The food is authentic and flavorful, with a great selection of dishes. The lively atmosphere is enhanced by live music, which adds to the overall experience. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, with friendly staff who go out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. If you’re looking for a great place to stay in Jungfraujoch with excellent dining options, this is the spot!

Very noisy and does not have sound proofing

It is a small family owned hotel and we booked a family rooms which was in the 2nd floor. The hotel takes you back in time - they still uses locks and keys and does not any lift. We got two interconnected rooms with one toilet. The plus point is the location. Very close to interlaken west and in middle of many restaurants. I felt it is a good for 1-2 nghts stay on budget.

No elevator, but we packed light and didn't mind the stairs. Lights in the hallway were on a very short timer, and I would sometimes be going up the stairs in complete darkness until I hit the next motion sensor.

Such a cute room! We were on the top floor so we had a sky light window on the roof. Room was huge and contained a couch as well. Had our own coffee maker and pods were refilled daily. There was a shared microwave in the common area which was very nice. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Location was perfect! On a quiet street, yet close to grocery stores, shops, bus stops and the train station.

This is a cute B&B type set up. The location was great, as it's central and also less than 1 min to the bus stop, which will take you in & around Interlaken. Lots of restaurants and shops near by for all food and shopping needs.

The bathrooms are on the floor(that we knew), however, the only sink we found was on the first floor, while we were on the 4th floor. It didn’t bother us much, but it is an inconvenience.
