Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Heating a little bit noisy (cannot change anything, it sends warm air through an opening under a window) and sleeping next to it was a little disturbing, but it was cold outside and cannot complain of being kept warm. A minor comment about broken TV remote control and TV with only a couple of broadcasting channels.
Central location close to the central train station and opera at the same time, quiet and comfortable. Our twin room was spacious and had a nice city view. A kettle and a capsule coffee maker saved our mornings and evenings (we did not have breakfast 24Fr/pp). Dyson heater ensured additional warmth. Good pillows! Good wifi! Safe luggage storage after check-out (at 11.00)

Room size is small - but not something which is a dealbreaker.
This hotel is located at an excellent location. It is in the center of Zurich old Town and the tram/ train stations are at 5-10mins walk. Rooms are bit small but honestly that is not something I would mind considering the location. Overall it is a 10/10 experience. Mr. Alberto at the front desk was also very courteous and helped us for a smooth checkin as we arrived late at night.

We had a few issues in the room that were addressed but the lighting in the bathroom was never repaired The beds need upgrading. The memory foam topper was not a good fit nor very comfortable.

Steps into the hotel and again to the (smallish) elevator. Tough with heavy bags and/or mobility issues.
Great location, one block away from the river promenade in an excellent neighborhood, spacious room and bathroom, exposed wood beams in the top floor room. Good and very practical layout.

There were three steps up from check in floor to the elevator. Not good for bringing your luggage to the elevator!
The hotel is centrally located for all Zurich sites and close to the train station. Great customer service and very good breakfast.

Zurich is always expensive...

Glass see through door on bathroom!!! Slightly inappropriate comments from man on reception which made us uncomfortable
Excellent location in centre of town but still near the station - only 7 minutes easy walk. Room was comfortable with tea making facilities & excellent coffee machine. Very good value overall

The shower had only a half-glass wall with no doors, so the floor got all wet after every shower. I really don’t see the point in not installing a proper sealed enclosure…
My room was clean, good sized and had a nice lighting. It seemed to be a bit too hot, but the temperature was cool during my stay, so it wasn’t unpleasant. The breakfast could have been better. The staff made very good eggs, but there wasn’t many varieties of bread. The coffee was just ok. Location is very good: the hotel is near everything.

The air conditioning was a little weak and not quite up to the job of countering the 34oC days that we had when we were there, though definitely better than not having any at all. Really quite a minor complaint.
Clean and modern with excellent, comfortable beds. Great location near to plenty of bars and restaurants. I found it very good value too. The shower was excellent.
