This beautifully restored former convent blends historic charm with modern design—stylish, serene, and thoughtfully done. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and quiet, with a minimalist aesthetic that still felt warm and comfortable. The staff were genuinely welcoming and eager to please. We especially enjoyed the garden, pool, and spa facilities, which offered a peaceful retreat after exploring the city. Access to Vieux Lyon was easy via the nearby funicular, making it a convenient base to explore the city.

During our July visit in a heatwave, the in-room air conditioning wasn’t quite as powerful as Americans might hope for, but it was adequate—especially after the staff quickly provided a portable fan that made a big difference.

Staff - especially reception team (Julien & the staff that processed our check in) were excellent. Great communication pre arrival. Great welcome and service at our arrival. Very helpful during our stay and delicious breakfast menu.

The location was ideal for the TGV train station, but a bit far from the city's activities. We stayed one night in order to pick up our car at the TGV rental station and it was an easy walk away.

Air conditioning had a lower limit and was not adequate to offset high outside temperatures and all that was provided was a comforter to cover with at night. If the air conditioning is not going to accommodate for hot nights, a light top sheet for the bed would provide a better night's rest. Restaurant options in the immediate area are sparse.

Old apartment and buidling. The living room is smaller than I thought in the photo. The wood floor makes a lot of noise when walking. Elevator is small and didn't work on the check out day. We had to carry our luggages down. The hand shower is broken. We had to use to standing one. Kitchen is very small and basic. I don't think cooking is a good idea during the stay. No dishwasher. No AC (according to the facility description), so summer heat was difficult 12 of us. We had to open the windows

The stairs were more challenging than we anticipated. In particular, the stairs to the kitchen were very tight and narrow, making it impossible for 1 person in our group.
