Lovely set up, close to Rio dulce so easy to get to while remaining quiet and private. The 4 bed dorm is comfortable, stayed in a private bungalow on our second night which had Air con. The pool was relaxed and had a calm feel, had enclosed sum loungers to relax in with a couple of open sun beds to tan. Good mix of nationalities, predominantly couples however the main dinning area is good for groups

Nice place, even had an upstairs terrace with a nice breeze. The manager, Rosa, was very helpful - she even booked me a bus to my next location and had them pick me up at the hotel. The breakfasts were good. The room was comfy and nice sized. The nearest restaurant was a bit of a walk, but it was very good, and reasonably priced for what you got. Entre Cerros Antigua Restaurante. I recommend it.

I had breakfast the first day. It was so mediocre, that after that I happily went elsewhere and paid twice as much. Nice hot showers, except on the days when they were just cold. The location was convenient.

To start with, they charge 8% extra to use a credit card to pay. The windows on my room opened into the hall, which meant that I could either have them open and have anyone crawl in, or have them closed and have a too warm, stuffy room with no ventilation. I got very sick with traveler's diarrhea and instead of having an ounce of compassion (I was very sick) the manager demanded that I pay 100 quetzales, because I had stained some of their towels (actually the staff that cleaned it up were the ones who stained them). No bedside reading lamp, not enough light from the ceiling light, even after I asked them to fix it.

I loved how beautiful the property was! It felt like I was living in fairy wonderland all week. There is so much greenery, very peaceful, lots of areas to enjoy the views, sun, and water.

The stairs are very steep, I didn’t realize upon arriving. The stairs have sensors for lights, but sometimes they didn’t turn on and it became dangerous. The facilities (shower and bathroom) are outside, so they were very buggy majority of the time.

Great little hotel. I extended my stay here. Most comfortable beds that I have found in Guatemala. Only blocks from the central plaza, and good restaurants. Good ventilation.

No desk in the room. The photo on the booking.com page was of a different hotel, so the bus driver dropped me off at the wrong place.

Shower pressure was awful No place to put clothes Right by the lake but there is no sitting area close to it Location was ok, about 10 min walk to the center but 2 min from really nice coffee shops

The bed was way too hard. knocking on the door 3 times a day to check if all is OK. the smelly guice glass cups , it smelled like eggs. the living room sofa and chair were too outdated.
