The location worked well for me; only a 15 minute bike ride to B.Amsterdam

I had prebooked but when I arrived (early) they wouldn't rent me a bike until I had checked in. That makes no sense since they already had my booking and I paid for the rental. Also, the bike's 3-speed shifting never worked correctly; it could barely shift into 2nd gear and only if I forced it and held it, and never could get it into 3rd gear. I would have expected bike maintenance would not have left this type of issue with the bike. The lighting in the bathroom was too dim over the sink; very hard to see while shaving.
