For Euro 10.00 the breakfast and restaurant were very good and very pleasant. Front staff speaks English very well .... not so at the restaurant. Overall obeservation .... The Portuguais in general don't speak other languages ,,,, a little of this, a little of that. Our guide Diana Cruz spoke English perfectly well ...... She was The Perfect Tour Guide ... friendly, helpful, patient, well spoken, smart overall 100+++++ % Our driver Manuel was great too !!! Very pleasant and friendly and foremost an EXCELLENT DRIVER ..... MY MOST CORDIAL THANKS AND REGARDS TO THEM BOTH !

The unit was very clean for being in an older building, the washroom could use few upgrades. For the most part it’s equipped with modern appliances. The place is very spacious. The building is quite secure and they have a heavy duty lock for the unit. The sunroom patio makes up for it as you can get views of the water and the hills of Lisbon. Also, it’s very quiet, which is a huge bonus. The hosts are very accessible and great with communication. Huge bonus is the Metro Station is literally outside of the building entrance, steps away.

The place is located in a melting pot and heavy immigrants neighborhood with various ethnic groups which for some may feel uneasy. Also, sometimes there’s homeless people right outside the building entrance or quite harmless and they don’t really say anything to you. They’re only there to sleep. Overall it’s evident Lisbon is going through mass immigration, specially in there major touristy areas and it can’t feel unsafe at times, especially if you’re so low or not in a big group. These are based on personal preferences but I did not feel unsafe as a solo traveler as the locals grew on me, having been in Lisbon for almost a week.

The apartment was clean, spacious and well-equipped. Even the bathroom was huge and had a towel warmer which was useful. The property was in a great location - within walking distance to many places of interest, restaurants/cafes, and supermarkets. Staff were accommodating and responsive. Allowing us to check in early was much appreciated.

Would have been more convenient if the kitchen counter and sink were bigger, especially as we used the kitchen a lot

Extremely clean. Large TV with streaming apps installed. Easily walk a few blocks to bustling restaurant and bar street, town center and a few blocks beyond that, Old Town. Host very responsive and helpful throughout stay.

I liked the location and the building itself – it’s very nice. The room had a large balcony and a lovely terrace with a view of the street.

I didn’t like that the kitchen plug didn’t work – I had to plug the coffee machine and kettle into a socket on the floor. One of the plugs was also coming out of the wall, which didn’t feel safe. The kitchen lacked some basic essentials like paper towels, coffee capsules, sugar, and salt. The beds were not comfortable. Overall, the apartment wasn’t very clean, especially the shower. Some items were old and worn out: the curtain was torn, the bed headboard was ripped, one of the bedroom windows was missing a blind, and the couch was quite dirty and stained.

Charged for anything extra. A Pepsi Coke and a very small bottle of beer €9.60 from the mini fridge. Charged €1.80 for small drop of milk for a cup of tea.Robbery. Charged tourist tax that Booking.com never mentioned. I booked for 2 adults but charged an extra €60 euro on the room price. Charged extra for bread and water with meal. Construction going on from 7am in the morning beside the hotel, so no late sleep in. Lines of homeless people sleeping outside the hotel. Booking. com would need to advvise customers on these facts insted of the inflated waffle they have on their website about this hotel. Trip Adviser always tells the truth and informs customers. Very disappointing overall.
