Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandN/A, I didn't read the instructions properly to find the car park to the hotel which I was sent but take time to read them, don't follow Google maps, keep driving past the church and then take the first main right turn, you don't need to go up the small streets.
It was a lovely apartment, there was eggs and bread for us when we arrive. The a/c was very good during the hot summer days.

We liked the rustic feel, the modern swimming pool, the tasteful garden with mix of shade from plants and sun. The cool rooms. The quiet area and friendly neighbour and the view.

Costa RicaThe driving directions was not so clear. We arrived at night and it took us about an hour to find a place driving. I would suggest put first "Agias Varvaras Church" in waze or google maps. And when you reach it, put Eveleos. Then it will take you to the parking lot and you will avoid driving through super tiny streets until the point you cannot drive any longer :) We also didn't like much our room location - it was next to the pool and everyone in the pool was looking directly into our room. Not much privacy. There are curtains, but then you have no view. Most of the rooms are not like this one. We had 2 floor apartment and the toilet was only on the second floor. It wasn't so bad, but would be easier to have one on the ground floor.
The place is very beautiful, cozy and clean. It has nice cooking facilities, nice pool and great views, though not from all rooms. The hosts was very nice and helpful, every issue we had was solved very quickly and with a smile. The pool is very nice, it's not new, but decent size and usually it wasn't too much crowded. We liked it a lot. The location is perfect - you have 2 taverns within walking distance, small grocery shop in the village itself. And it's a great location for exploring almost every area in Cyprus - we visited Trodos mountains, Limassol, Larnaca, Agiy Napa, Nicosia and many villages around. If you plan to rent a car and explore the island - this place is a great win. Overall, it's a very good place and good value for money.

LithuaniaHowever, it wasn't evident from the photos or description that the rooms are situated across two floors, which proved to be less convenient. Unfortunately, the two rooms we were assigned lacked cozy outdoor seating areas. The designated entrance and tables were located in an unattractive space under the pool wall. Furthermore, the floors in the apartment were not as clean as expected, and some of the bed covers had stains, detracting from the overall comfort.
It is a perfectly quiet location in the medieval village, ideal for those who are looking for a tranquil and secluded retreat. The convenient location allows for short daily trips to explore Cyprus. The swimming pool was definitely a refreshing amenity during hot days, coupled with a wonderful view. The very responsive and friendly staff take great care in explaining details and providing assistance. The village boasts a minimarket just a few minutes' walk away, as well as a tavern.

United Arab EmiratesNeeded bigger mugs for our coffee to sit a look over the valley when the sun comes up. (Bring your own) lovely people. Don’t bring a heavy suitcase as it’s as hilly as Santorini
We really felt like we had got into the soul of Cyprus with our room overlooking Tochni valley. Peace and quiet but still located well to get about. Small touches such as bread and eggs as we arrived late though local shop nearby if you need anything.

AustriaMoskitofence would be nice so you can open the windows at night instead of AC. The different apartments are close around a central patio, so it can get a bit noisy if people are unmindful. But the owner sets great value to keep the place peaceful.
Very cozy old stone house. Good views. Very good and clean pool. There is always somebody around for help or cleaning. Fully equiped kitchen. Good beds. 10 minutes drive to the beach in Zygi. Small supermarket and two restaurants in walking distance. Host speaks German.

IsraelSome of our rooms had a little problem with hot water in the shower, also in a personal note I would put more garbages or bigger ones 😅 we tried to keep everything in clean and order but it was a little hard for a big group.
Wow such an amazing place! The stuff was great and everything was perfect. As a family they gave us a closed complex that was isolated and private. Also the pool is absloutly amazing. Tochni is such a small and peacefull village with great taverns and nice people (especially Dimitris the neighbor). Amazing experience!!

NetherlandsThe number of ants became quite an annoyance after a couple of days. I don't know if its possible to do something about them tho... and the drain in our shower was nearly clogged. Those are the only things i can think off everything else was perfect!
The Country House itself was really beautiful and the view from the pool and the pool area was wonderful. Klea and Andreas are friendly and helpful. It's a calm and peaceful place, away from the seaside resorts.
