Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

It’s second time I was in this hotel. First time I didn’t like it and I write everything on review. But now it was good, maybe we were on another floor or they repaired rooms I don’t know, but now everything was good. Breakfast was very good

United KingdomThe room was ok. It was quite small and very basic. The TV was not a smart TV and only had local channels. I know you don't go away to watch the telly, but when you've got a young child with you and have had a busy day exploring, it would have been nice to be able to get back and chill watching a film for a bit. There was no kettle in the room (should have left the Yorkshire tea at home), which again, would have been a nice touch. Wouldn't have been able to store the milk for a cuppa anyway as the fridge didn't work. The bed was comfortable enough, but they might aswell not have bothered putting the pillows on. All of that aside, still a hotel worth booking based on its fantastic location and low cost.
The hotels location was amazing! A 5 minute walk to the old town square and a 15-minute walk to Wenceslas square, the location was the best thing about the hotel. I wouldn't hesitate to book it again, purely for that reason.

United KingdomThere was no kettle or cups in the room, we asked for a kettle and got one but they wouldn't give us any cups. The lovely man at breakfast gave us some the following morning. The shower was very low on the wall and the pressure wasn't great.
Breakfast was lovely just a shame there were no croissants. Room had four single beds but plenty room to move around.

RomaniaNo ventilation in the bathroom, after a shower and toilet usage you needed to use the window of the room ant that is not so convenient when you have wet hair and outside is chilly. It had no AC but it doesn't matter because the period when I traveled I didn't need one. The fridge wasn't working but maybe I I told the reception about it they might have fix it. Very noisy neighbours.
Clean, perfect placement everything at max 20 min walking distance and 5 min walk to the subway or trams ( most of them being at 5-10 min walk), lots of options at breakfast.

PolandThere was an angry lady in the breakfast at May2. We are a family of 6, we did combine 2 tables at the corner of the restaurant and she shouted like we don’t understand her. Ofcourse we understand what she meant, she could have said it in a nicer way, instead she shouted at us and with big eyes that it’s not allowed. Anyway ofcourse we followed, we don’t want to cause any trouble at all. My 8yo daughter was terrified. Angry lady should not be put in the front line, it ruins a vacation mood.
Rooms are decent. Location is great walking distance to the old town. Breakfast is ok.

NorwayWe had read in advance that the staff might not be very polite, and unfortunately, this matched our own experience. Especially in the breakfast area, the level of service was quite poor – the staff seemed unwelcoming and reacted strongly to minor things, such as putting a regular slice of bread in the toaster (which apparently is only meant for toast slices). At the reception, we were also met by an older woman who appeared outright grumpy. There is definitely room for improvement when it comes to guest service and general friendliness.

GermanyI think adding a kettle would be a nice touch for guests. The breakfast selection was quite limited, which was a bit disappointing. A bit more variety would improve the experience. Overall, it was an okay stay, mainly thanks to the great location.

FinlandHousekeeping staff. On the first Morning of our stay the housekeeping staff came to our door three times to ask if they could come in and clean. Every time we told them that we don’t need cleaning since we had just arrived last night. We could hear the cleaning ladies laughing at our response ”not today” in the hall. On the next morning one off the housekeepers just walked in without knocking. She did apologize after but we thought it was strange.
Reception staff and breakfast staff were great.
