Have stayed here before and was happy to return. As it was more in-season, I didn't get quite as good a room as last time, but I understand. This is a very good location near the tram and 7 minutes walk from Andel for shopping and the metro line.

Room 101. I heard pretty much noise. And I even woke up during the night few times because of it.

Problems with hot water, noisy parties at nights in hotel rooms, without any reaction from the staff. Parking can be problematic. Not easy for cars, as you cannot stop just by the hotel

Nice enough room but lacking usual hotel amenities. Water not sold at reception, restaurant open only at breakfast. Kettle provided but no tea, coffee in room. Reception staff a little underwhelming.

On booking description it states an ironing service is included. When we asked staff about this, they had no further information to give us, thus we could not iron the garment we had planned. Tea set and fridge in room was dirty/sticky. On the first night we had no hot water, but the rest of the stay the issue was fixed, thankfully.

Excellent location for exploring the city. Good connection via tram line but also close enough for getting around using Uber and taxi while not being too expensive. Quaint deco inside the hotel gave it a nice flair. Comfortable bed and pillows, good room temperature in early springtime.

In the bathroom, the shower holder is broken, there is a hole in the door, I recommend replacing the entire door and changing the appearance of the rooms a little. There is an electric kettle on the table, but there is no tea to brew. I would recommend completely remodeling the room

I liked that it is about 8 minutes walk from the Nový Smíchov shopping center

The wifi was flat out unusable, it was a trip for my media company and sadly i was unable to do any processing work while i was there which meant i have to now do it at home. The plug sockets apart from one just stopped working which again meant it was laptop plugged in to work or nothing which meant charging our gear was very very difficult.

Location was good, especially if you like shopping. The tram station is near as well and we could arrive in any part of Prague easily.

Hotel matches description and pictures. Staff is nice, room was clean and they provide daily cleaning. Decor of the room is very nice, although it’s not the newest hotel. I got what I expected. Would stay again.

The room was quite small. Apart of the bed, there was not much room to move around. The bathroom was what you would expect in a decent but not classy hotel.

It was pretty nice to be able to check in at 2 am without any extra charge. Extra points for the forgotten Netflix account already logged in on the TV 😅

Old hotel, but has its charm. They upgraded us to a bigger room free of charge. Breakfast was basic but tasty and plentiful. Location is great imo. Great price for what you get.

There's a quite a bit of dust under the bed and cabinets. Warm water didn't run on the last day of our stay for some reason. Breakfast for 300 Kč/person is a bit overpriced so we weren't tempted to try it. The dark room design, while fancy, isn't ideal if you need to perform some tasks since the lights are quite dim.

Exceptionally fancy design of the whole hotel, the price was quite low considering the nice location (proximity to trams and metro as well as nearby shops) and the fact that the rooms will make you feel like a princess. The "towel on the floor = change" rule is very smart. The cleaning service does seem to respect the do not disturb sign and will not clean for you if you don't want to. Receptionist also borrowed us scissors when we needed them the most (thank you <3).

The breakfast was not quite to my taste, although people less picky than me would be absolutely delighted.

Hotel Praga 1885 is just a short walk out of busy Andel - but the quiet inside means you are in another world. Check-in was swift and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room itself was the best I have ever had at this price point; comfortable and large with an excellent shower and a balcony, which was nice for having a morning coffee on. I was genuinely surprised at the value I got here - admittedly I booked well out of season - but I have paid way more for worse in the past. Recommended!
