Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

LatviaGood location, close to the central train station and metro. Nice and very clean room with a view of the city, comfortable bed, bathroom has everything you need. Kind and responsive staff, bar open in the evening, guests have access to drinking water, coffee and tea. There is a terrace in the courtyard. I am satisfied with my choice, I recommend it!

NetherlandsRooms were lovely - clean, well-equipped, and designed to be chic and modern in a simple way, which made the hotel feel a little bit more personal/unique. Bathrooms were clean and bright. The hotel has a great bar and the pizza/pasta/salad bar was a nice touch, especially since we arrived quite late and were still able to eat. The free coffee machine in the morning was a nice touch for if you weren't having breakfast. The quality and selection at breakfast was excellent - although 17 euros isn't super cheap we felt it was worth the money! Convenient for Hauptbahnhof - though we didn't explore much in the local area, the hotel's location was a convenient base from which to access the whole city.

IsraelThe location is a bit of a walk from the HBF, about 10 mins. The self check-in experience is no good, they should hire more staff and do it the normal way. The elevator will let you ride to your floor only if you have your keycard (i.e. someone's keycard for floor 2 will not take you to 5), so make sure you grab it when going to reception.
Super friendly staff, helped us with every request we had. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable with good interior design. I enjoyed the view out of the window, and the street outside is not especially loud (we do travel with earplugs for sleeping, though).

The hotel seems to be newly renovated, and the facilities in the room are in good condition. The staff are very friendly and do their best to help you. The hotel is close to Berlin HBF, just a 10–15 minute walk. It's rare to find a hotel with a good internet connection, and Urban Loft Berlin is one of them. I’ll definitely re-visit this hotel.
