Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyAlthough I have to say I didn't need it, the services are reduced to a minimum ... Perhaps the only thing I have to admit is the soundproofing which is really lacking
I liked a lot the location of the hotel and the size of the room (the room had a huge window on the city centre pedestrian area, in front of a nice buildings and close to the river ... therefore excellent)

United KingdomThe check in, not being able to check in before 3pm. We arrived early and were able to leave our bags told to come back at 1pm to check in - arrived back only to find check in closed. Was surprised to see non residents using the toilet facilities, when the reception was closed.
Central location, clean room , there is a nice rooftop terrace

GermanyThe lighting in both the room and bathroom was quite minimal. So I wasn’t able to make it bright when it was dark outside. The curtains didn’t cover the entire windows so it was very bright in the early morning and also I felt people could see into my room because I couldn’t close the curtains

HungaryNo fridge. Insufficient preparation of cups, glasses etc. (solved it on request). The area is very central but the neigborhood is mixed in impressions. The garage is very hard to find, easier to park at the nearest public garage.
Great central location, good breakfast, quiet room, good beds. Close to Neckar river.

United Kingdom(1) The 6-digit key code to enter the room! I had difficulty entering the room on several occasions. After pressing the code, you then have to - very quickly - turn a round handle, which can be challenging! It is simply a terrible system and will discourage me from staying at the hotel again, despite the positive aspects that I have listed. (2) I found myself in a 'Smoking Room'...there was a stale smell of tobacco smoke
Location; price; size of room; good barthroom & shower

GermanyThis is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room smelled of smoke, you could hear the subway at any time of the day or night, and when I went to breakfast in the morning, I wanted to return to my room, but the doors were locked. I went to the reception and waited for more than 20 minutes for someone to come. . The waitress gave me a new door code, which also didn't work. I went back down to the reception desk and asked them to open the door for me. After that, they came up with me and gave me another code. Thanks to the hotel's irresponsibility, I missed my train.

IsraelNot ideal if you're sensitive to noise or need easy parking The parking is actually quite far from the hotel, not as convenient as advertised. The location is right on a major tram line, which makes it extremely noisy throughout the day and night. I had a hard time sleeping because of the constant noise

SwedenAs per listed under the hotel it was told that parking was available, together with WiFi, showers etc, all according to the description of the accommodation. The parking was not included as it was one of the city’s parking garage. As we’re all the other parking facilities around the hotel. A bit of false marketing.
Good breakfast.

United KingdomEverything
Absolutely chaotic experience. I arrived at 3:00 PM for check-in, only to find the hotel completely deserted. The reception area was locked, with a printed notice saying reception opened at 3 PM – ironic, considering no one showed up until well after that time. No apology, no explanation – just a shrug and a key. The room itself? Basic at best. There is nothing remotely “luxury” or “boutique” about it. For £140 per night, I at least expected a bottle of water or some thoughtful touch, but no – not even the bare minimum. The room was uncomfortably hot, and when I asked about air conditioning, the receptionist casually told me there was none and that I should just open the window. As for breakfast – don’t expect much. A few tired pieces of fruit, boiled eggs, and an overwhelming amount of bread. If you’re lactose intolerant or vegetarian, brace yourself. Milk and water round off the “buffet.” Overall, completely underwhelming. This hotel is riding on a name and delivering none of what it promises. I wouldn’t return, nor would I recommend it to anyone expecting a proper boutique hotel experience.

United StatesUPDATE - I received a message from the property (see attached) - complete validating our issues and safety concerns. The overall place (halls, rooms, lobby had a very bad smell. The window in our room was broken, the curtain was torn. We ended up going to another hotel as we could not cancel/get refund.

BelgiumLooks like there was a party and stuff went missing and was never replaced: curtains, hangers, tables, phone, cutlery, tissues etc. Bathroom is TINY: no place for shampoo bottles, no hangers for clothes, you can put your toothbrush there and that’s it. There are chairs and a couch awkwardly arranged in the HUGE room but no tables. There were two fans that were about to break. No couches on the balcony like in the pictures. The third bed is not nice at all and more of an after thought. Hugely disappointed!

United KingdomNo staff at reception, the entrance of of hotel smells badly of smoke, showers are very small,no air conditioning,TV was not working and when it did there were no uk channels for those arriving from UK,the room we were in was top floor and the window opens fully so for those with young kids this would be a concern.
There was nothing to like about this hotel. This is a family run business, and I personally think they need to listen to the staff and those staying in the hotel..very poorly run
