Really nothing to dislike. Just keep expectations realistic. It's not a boutique hotel, but rather a comfortable and vry hospitable one.

I selected the hotel because of its proximity to the main train station. It is almost literally across the street, so it made day trips from Munich very easy. The staff was incredibly cordial and made us feel right at home. Our friends and we like to play cards in the evening and they let us use the breakfast room. On more than one occasion, the front desk person would bring in a little snack for us. There are several fine restaurants in the immediate neighborhood. Normally I steer away from hotels that close to the main train station because the neighborhood is frequently a bit shaky. In this case I highly recommend the Hotel Metropol if you want to prioritize this.

Location close to the main train station is not that nice, in particular because there is a lot construction in the area. Noise starts as early as 7 am.

We got during the morning at were allowed to checkin early at no extra cost. Confortable and clean room. The included breakfast was abundant and varied.

Comfortable bed and room was spotless. No housekeeping during your stay but stations are available to get clean towels etc if you need them. 15 minute walk to main areas and only 5 minutes from the train station/airport bus. Free coffee machine in reception, didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment. Staff really helpful with all our queries. Would stay again

The mattress was a little firmer than I would have at home. otherwise, faultless.

Super clean property and breakfast was delicious. one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had, I am Vegan. the juicer and plant based milks were excellent, the muesli choices perfect. Location in proximity to the station or Lufthansa shuttle bus was excellent.

Breakfast buffet was OK, but not great compared to many, other German hotels. Neighborhood doesn’t offer much in the way of nice stores or restaurants, but that’s not the hotel’s fault.

Nice staff, comfortable room and very, very close to the train station. Also, just a short walk to Marienplatz and easy walk or tram to major attractions. Good value.

The staff was very nice at the front desk. Online check in and check out super easy and straight forward. Location just off the train station but no nice views . It is a little bitt hidden but it not being on the main road made the night quiet. Breakfast was OK. Have had better but there was a bit of everything i guess.

The hotel boasts an excellent location– it's just a 5-minute walk from the train station and surrounded by numerous shops and supermarkets, making shopping extremely convenient. We booked a small suite, which was surprisingly spacious, providing ample room to open two large suitcases. A standout feature was the heated drying rack in the bathroom, which worked brilliantly. Additionally, the hotel offers 24-hour access to coffee, tea, and hot water, and the coffee was particularly delicious.
