There was no one normal espresso machine in the premises, only the filtered and vendor machine coffee available. Also the music around the pool was extremely laud thoughts the day, we needed to ask the guys who puts the music to lower it as i couldn't have a conversation with my friend.

Apparently the hotel is soon closing for renovations and new ownership. Many facilities were not open, the place was only 20 to 30% occupied. They have a very confusing system for meals and drinks. I opted for "half board" (breakfast and dinner) but was up-sold full board, which was not worth it. Wines are only available by the bottle and are over-priced. Even the internet package is up-sold and not free as advertised. Hopefully the new owners will manage this beautiful property more effectively than Bahia Principe. If so, I would return, if not, I would not recommend.

I needed to add one guest to my room, they charged us double the price even though it was already a double room, and online the price was much cheaper. The staff is terribly slow, specially at the on-site restaurants where service is just horrible. At 8am there were still no clean towels available for the beach/pool, the electricity was often out, the first night we had no hot water until i complained several times, the bathroom / shower in particular is pretty bad for a 5 star hotel this is a bit of a let down.

Installations are a bit old but the location is so amazing that in the end doesn't matter much.

The views are mesmerizing. Food was good and the service of the personnel great.

The heat and humidity - the rooms were nicely air conditioned, but the resort itself was really hot and humid, even at the bars and evening entertainment.

The breakfast was great with a lot of options, and the coffee was very, very good. Views from the room and balcony were amazing and the staff were super nice and helpful. I needed some drops for my eyes from too much sand and they sent to the pharmacy and had it delivered at no extra charge. There was also a clinic on site which was great, as well as a spa, and midnight snacks starting around 11:15pm through 5 or 6am.

They can not manage reservation in person. I have booked 6 nights and I asked the reception s tleave one day early because the early flight ! But they couldn’t help me with that !! I had to leave on Sept 21fst for 5 nights however I paid for 6 nights until 22nd , which means I lost one night without refund 😒☹️. If that could be possiblessible to help me witht please ? Thanks

Good value for the money, I would go back. Is right at the beach, the tour to Cayo levantado was wonderful. The food and cocktails were good. Every night they had entertainment shows and good latin/cuban music. My room was at the corner and had an spectacular water and city view. The resort gifted us a bottle of champagne and chocolates for our anniversary, which I thought was a very nice gesture.

No Netflix access on TV which makes entertaining children easier. The beds and pillows were not that comfy. Room service was lacking a bit - I requested dry coffee in the morning to make in my room and face towels but none were delivered.

Beautiful setting, friendly team members and wonderful food. Loved the golf cart that took us around the resort as I had just had an operation and couldn’t walk far. The food areas were well kept and had a good array of foods including gluten free options. Pool bar was very cool and refreshing on hot days.

A shame the pools are only open 8 hrs it would have been nice to have a night time swim with all the pool lights. The Mediterrean restaurant was a disappointment, ambiance and food barely average compared to the French restaurant which was faultless. Would have preferred a large shower rather than a small bath with shower. Aa

Where do I start, The place is beautiful, views across the sea and town from nearky everywhere on the grounds. The pools are excellent, especially like the swim up bar (fabulous cocktails!). The food was to a high standard nesrly every meal. Dont miss the French restaurant . The main beach was great, clean, plenty of shade and loungers (even a bar and elevator to it)! Entertainment crew were fabulous but to be honest all the staff (and I mean all!) were great, helpful, cheerful, smiling, couldnt do enough for you, definitely added to the experience. Place is spotlessly clean.

Everyone is really nice here but almost no one speaks english. So if you dont speak spanish, it can be a little problem to comunicate sometimes. At least at the reception desk people understood english.

Night entertainment wasn’t too fun, no discotheque available, barely plays latin Dominican music, too much American music. At the pool the animation was fair.

Only one thing the Aircon is non existent really, I called reception twice but I think it's just the age. It's not a new hotel.
