My room was on the street and it was sooo loud. Vehicle traffic and dogs barking made it hard to sleep. Wifi was hit or miss. Also there was never anyone working it seemed. Maybe only during the day when I was out.

The deluxe room is worth it! Simple hostel, a bit far from Charles Darwin Ave, but close to Baltra Ave. Also, we had a problem with hot water on our first day, but staff was amazing and solved the problem super fast!

The wifi didn’t work properly so trying to catch up on emails or getting in touch with family was difficult and there’s no communal kitchen as that would have been handy to offer part of the facility to be able to use fridge to store food. Breakfast is offered a little bit late in time as some tours are being picked up at 7am (when breakfast is served) therefore having a communal kitchen would have been a plus.

It wasn't the best location, but still absolutely walkable to the port and main area. If you want to catch local buses they were right outside.

They upgraded me to a nicer room, which had a lovely tiled shower. The bed was very comfortable. There was welcome tea and coffee available, and the staff were all friendly. They let me check in a bit early too.

Some parts of the communal areas had no walls so the hostel got very loud until late and night and early in the morning. There is no one at reception from 7pm to 7am. Breakfast stops at exactly 9am. I came down at 9:03 and they said that couldn't facilitate me.

Bathroom could do with a refurbishment as the huge oval bath was very dated, however water hot and pressure good, and that's the only fault.

Room size quite small. There’s a long mirror in our room but it reflected a distorted view. Our bedding had some black spots of different size when we came in, I swept them off with my hand thinking they were dust. We went out for dinner and came back to see even more of the black spots. Receptionists had left by this time. Although the black spots don’t look alive and we were not bitten by anything, it was a worrying sight.

This hotel is dated and certainly needs some reviewing like replacing missing tiles in the bathroom and hooks. Staff were courteous and friendly. The location is just off the Main Street.

Too much chlorine into the little pool. Lack of adequate space to put the 5 day trip clothes, no lamp, no night table, no electrical socket near bed, no place to put shampoo and soap bottles but on the shower floor

Staff, breakfast, cleaning, location , mattress and pillows are super comfy, complementary coffee,tea, water 24/7. Breakfast was very good 😊

The room was cool looking. The place was a little old but charming. My room had no AC, so it got a little hot. But being on the third floor with windows open, I got a pretty decent ocean breeze and was able to sleep comfortably.

The area has lots of construction sites at the moment, and you have to walk a bit to reach the pier area with bars and restaurants, but it's totally manageable.

I got an upgraded room (the suite) which was very nice and made it up for my previous horrible experience on another island, so thanks a lot! The beds are super comfy, with various pillows and good linen. The bathroom was nice and clean, the shower was hot. The Wi-Fi works good both in the room and in the common area. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

Room was a bit small but with everything you need.

Comfortable and clean room. Staff is very welcoming and will give you information about the islands. Common little pool, eating and sofas area. You get drinking water and possible luggage storage. Located next to the beginning of the Tortuga Bay Trail, next to the market.
