How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

No ambience in the hotel and at the swimming pool. But the good side is it was quiet.

I asked for late checkout They told me to check out at 1 pm maximum Inspite the hotel was nearly empty and all clients were checking out So they dont have the problem of being full I dont understand why exactly they did that

but I had a bad experience while sleeping due to the lack of attention to the cleanliness of the beds, and bed bugs,
The hotel has a great location, is quiet and comfortable, I love El Gouna, and I advise everyone to visit it

hotel is far from the beach, walking in the hot sun can be very annoying breakfast is very limited and the seating are is very small a lot of stairs to reach upper story rooms
staff is very friendly and helpful rooms are clean and good size pool view room is good overall the hotel is quiet and clean, and we had good time

I didn't particularly like how there weren't enough electricity sockets in the room.
I loved how the staff was flexible with our checkout time. The location was perfect. The pool was always sunny!

some electric outlets did not work, it is a little dark (i guess because it is on the first floor),
the reception is a bit far at the Mosaic hotel, but the people there (both Mikes) and the young man Ayman, were all great and helpful... it feels like you are in an apartment building away from noise and many people, and that is fine for me...

The pool was not heated, and a bit shallow for an adult. Bed lines were bed old and not smooth, however itvwas extremely clean. There were not so many activities to do around the place and the ones they offer is overpriced that we had to go to hurgada for the good much cheaper activities prices.
The staff were extremely welcoming, helpful, professional and made us feel at home. The room was so clean, well furnished and balcony was a great plus. The room service was great and is provided everyday. The breakfastvwas good not so much variety but the quality was good. The location was exceptional overlooking the marina and it was so calm and relaxing. The marina beach, is so great l, it is extremely clean, the water is so great and the beach is sandy that you can go in without any sea shoes unlike many other beaches and the beach is very well maintained.

The only thing that was a bit uncomfortable was the sheets. They're old and not soft
Everything was great from service to location.The staff were very accommodating. We especially loved the marina beach walking distance from the hotel

Breakfast /Food was a disappointment! No varieties, no warm food only cold, bakery, butter, cheese and jams.
Staff are very helpful, location is excellent, very clean and Facilities are working nicely.

the reception is in another hotel, the biggest downside is the breakfast that i have to take a tuktuk to captain’s inn to have breakfast which is a hassle

No breakfast buffet in Fanadir hotel and had to go to Mozaique or steak house next door. Steack house was not good standard of breakfast and ventilation was non existing inside. We left the place smelling like giant eggs and had to shower and change to remove the very strong food smell. Better have breakfast at Mozaique Hotel reception where food was very good with excellent service.
Hotel location was perfect for us and staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is very clean and pleasant.
