How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

very good value in super conveinent location easy access to sunset strip to the beaches and the bus station bonus if you get a balcony with view over S Antonio church and the mountain tops 100% would definitely return

noise frombfurniture been dragged across floor above. was not too much of a problem as only away fir 3 nights.
staff great, was allowed in early as appartment was ready. beds were very comfy, nice balcony. fabulous shower.

I was a little nervous about this after reading some of the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. It’s obviously not a luxury resort but you can’t beat the location. It was a little dated but overall clean. There was 5 of us and we fit comfortably. We did not have an issue with the air - were actually a little cold and we stayed there early August. Overall good experience

The aircon unfortunately was leaking really bad someone did attempt to fix it but couldn’t find the issue so had to be left as was so we had to empty the buckets daily which was annoying.
It’s a really good location, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, the facilities were all clean

We were delayed 3hrs so didn't arrive until the early hours, but someone was at reception to meet us. The apartment was compact but perfect for us.

Not enough plug sockets. 6 people staying and needing to charge devices. Only one mirror in the living room and one in the bathroom. Mirrors in the bedroom would help getting ready especially when there are 6 people. Hooks needed somewhere for people to put their towel after having a shower so they don’t get mixed up
Great location. Two balcony’s. Nice view of a little church and side sea view. Very cheap - good value for money

Bathroom was super dirty, no toiletries provided, toilet seat was broken so constantly sliding off.
Great location! Right by the nice restaurants and walks along the waterfront. Staff were super lovely!

- [ ] No hair dryer or iron and when we asked for those items in the day we was told we had to wait until 8pm to get one as they wasn’t going to be on site. - [ ] Building work going on next door from 7am. No information was given about this, therefore couldn’t open the door for some air because it was so loud, which brings me onto the air conditioning, we asked for the remote to use it and was not given one so the entire apartment was hot - [ ] We chose the pay at the property option and because of this they added on an additional £20.00 with no reason - [ ] No 24 hour front desk, was extremely hard to contact the staff, they never replied to my booking.com messages and we had to call multiple times, wasn’t sure what to do on check out so we waiting for someone and no one came so we left the cards on the desk - [ ] No daily housekeeping- they didn’t come once, so we had no fresh towels - [ ] Only 2 hangers for your clothes and just one shelf, no wardrobe, just one pole
Apartment was great, perfect size for 2 people, beach and amenities within 3-5 minute walking distance

Noisy at times with people moving the furniture about in other rooms, not enough mugs, no oven and room not being cleaned enough on long period stays.

Faint smell of smoke on the soft furnishings - as non-smokers we could detect this but it did not bother us too much.
Close to bus station, the beach, bars and restaurants. Balcony overlooking pedestrian areas. Cleaned daily. Reception staff were friendly and efficient.

Only had air con in the communal room, none in bedrooms which was very hot for us at times. Clean towels only given every couple of days, room isn’t cleaned until check out but it was a reasonable cost so we can’t complain too much.
Very good location, friendly staff on reception and great value for money.
