The bar/cafeteria was not open when we arrived at 2pm and food service in the restaurant did not start until 6. It's a small village without any shops.

Room was clean and beds were comfortable. We had dinner at hotel which was delicious.

Maybe it was because we stayed on Sunday, check-in was not so easy. I was given a PIN by mail and had to key in to enter the premises. There was no one at the reception and we had to check-in using our smartphone.

Unfortunately the outside terrace was not set up, I ended up sitting on a wall to enjoy the evening sun and my beer.

Nothing to dislike

Clean, airy and nicely furnished room and bathroom. We arrived early off the Camino on an exceptionally hot day and alejandro on reception was excellent and we were able to use our room immediately. We ate dinner in the restaurant which was very enjoyable and reasonably priced. Would stay again.

there was no body at checkin and the codes to get into the room were sent to a whatsapp account but because nothing was mentioned about that during the booking it was nearly not found... fortunately 2 guests came down and mentioned whatsapp. VERY disconcerting after a 20mile walk.. also NO ICE.. not good if you knees needed it.

THe shower was great.. high water pressure. the bed was comfortable.

Nice room, I had my own little balcony which was great. Right on the Camino trail. Wonderful dinner. Tiny little town so I didn’t have very much interaction with others. I only saw two other people at dinner and they came in after me so I ate alone.

There wasn’t anyone available after hours. No restaurant on premises for dinner, we had to walk quite a ways to get food. We needed extra toilet paper and nobody was available to bring us some.

Lovely place. Would certainly stay again.

Right on the Camino in a quiet town (with one exception--keep reading). They have a restaurant bar. We ate there and the good was good. Room was lovely. Clean, with access to a terrace where we could dry our clothes:) Note that at the other end of this small town, on the right, is a bar. If they are open, it will be loud at that end of the town--all the more reason to stay in this place as it's so quiet. Also, do visit the church in town and the nearby garden that's part of an albergue but welcomes visitors.

We stayed at Hotel Ambasmestas while on the Camino. We liked the location in the middle of the village. We got the matrimonial room on the 3rd floor under the roof. It was a beautiful room. However, it could get hot in summer. Unfortunately, they only served breakfast at 8:00am. Not practical if you want to leave early morning.
