How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

nothing it was fantastic
Absolutely brilliant little hotel, honestly I can not fault it. The main thing that stood out for me was the staff, the guys on reception were probably the most friendly and helpful staff ive ever experienced in a hotel. The rooms had everything you needed and was super clean, as was the hotel as a whole. Location couldn't have been better. Can't wait to come back in Summer :)

The toilet kept trickling water and the noise was annoying. I didn't notify the front desk, though, because who wants maintenance in their hotel room?
Location was spot on. Good shower and comfortable bed. A fridge was useful.

Location was right on La Rambla with a rear facing room so it was reasonably quiet

With a room on La Ramblas I thought it would be noisy but with the windows closed it was very quiet so we sleeping wasn't a problem. The restaurant staff downstairs were also wonderful!

Perfect location right on La Rambla, close to everything. Clean rooms, comfortable stay, and super friendly staff. Great service throughout. Would happily stay here again!

Wi-Fi is available, but it doesn’t work anywhere in the hotel. The cleaning is not very good. They only changed the bed linen, and that’s it.

The room got a little stuffy and there wasn’t a way to regulate the heat in the room.
It is a great location. Walking distance to many things and across the street from the metro. The staff were all so friendly and helpful.

On bookings.com they advertise parking, but there was none and was quite a battle and had to park quite far.

The bed, while nice, was too hard. So were the pillows. Not enough to drag it down, though, because everything else was spot on.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and the daily cleaning personnel do a great job of maintaining the room. The bathtub and soaps were incredible. So many perfect bubbles! The sockets are conveniently located. The location is perfect. Step outside and you're immediately in the thick of things. It was especially fun being able to hear the rumble of the metro under the street from our room.

For the English - no kettle for tea but you can ask for hot water in the cafe below or get coffee.

The double bed room itself was smaller than the twin room, but we had the courtyard view and quieter area. The twin room was larger and on the street side, but the kids did not complain about too much noise.
This Hotel's location cannot be beat, an absolute gem. You are near everything. We were able to watch the Flamenco show at Tablaou and walk 3 minutes back, the next morning we walked another 3 minutes to the Boqueria market. The staff was great, very helpful.

The lobby needs much improvement. First impression was that of disappointment yet the room I was assigned was amazing. It had a terrace overlooking the ramblas.
Right in the middle of Las Ramblas. Restaurants all around, 10-15 minutes walk to Colon statue and the sea. Primart shopping a short walk, plaza cataluya also, el cortes Ingles and la boqueria market about 7 minute walk.
