Food quality, too many options instead of fewer options but better quality. Some staff are arrogant. No access to tennis courts during 4 days. Some drinks ie tea limited access. Drinks machines were not fully operational. Local tourist attractions - not easy access to information, met the local guide by accident so could ask questions.

The buffet can get busy - but there are two sections. Very helpful if one has coeliac disease which means you can avoid the crowds and avoid getting glutened from cross-contamination. Entry is via the barcode on your wristband. We didn't realise when we first came and were told off which didn't make us feel very welcome. We just wished someone had explained the process before.

The location - opposite Cala Gran beach and the location to the centre of town itself. The view from our room was lovely and they did accommodate our request which was very much appreciated.

That you have to shower in a bath, which is quite tricky for older people.

The hotel is situated right at the beach and very close to the old centre of Cala D’Or with restaurants and shops. All staff was very friendly. We had halfboard and we thought the food is nice and plenty of choice. The beds in our room were excellent!! We did not use the swimmingpool so no opinion can be given about the pool area.

4 pools advertised but only one pool open and 3 pools closed off. The one pool open did not have enough space, hence a race to get a space for sunbeds. Food disappointing. Breakfast bacon always cold, eggs overcooked. Evening meals not good and lacked variation. We went outside the Hotel for a few meals in the end.

Lovely location. Central to all the shops, bars & restaurants.

It was our 4th visit to Gavimar Cala Gran. The food quality is continuously deteriorating. This visit, fish and meat were not fresh on some occasions. The majority of desserts were not eatable. I would prefer a smaller amount of food, but better quality. And the bar should be able to make dissent coffee, not a strange brown liquid. We had to go to the bar in the village every morning to get an espresso.

The room cleaning was excellent. Always on time and well done.

Pools are very small with limited number of lounges available. Whilst there is air con in the bedrooms there is non in any other areas, bar, lounges, corridors, reception etc making the hotel unbearable.

Location of the hotel is perfect, right on the beach and right by town whilst quiet. Our room was bigger than last time we stayed, yes the rooms are dated, in need of upgrade but how much time is spent in your room? Food was good, more choice than in the 2 4star hotels we went to next. All inclusive restaurants get repetitive if you stay a while, this one is no different but don't know what others are moaning about.

The place is so old its falling apart, needs alot of desperate updating. The smell of sewage was strong in a few rooms. I travelled in a group where we had 4 rooms. The rooms and bathrooms were falling apart. it was same price for single all inclusive as it was for 2 people. The lift broke almost everyday and was quite scary to use when you have young children in pushchair. Although the pools were nice and very clean. There was never any space to sit down, as ppl would reserve all day and there just wasnt enough chairs or space in general. its not hotels fault people hog chairs, but maybe needs a policy/rule in place to stop people taking all loungers all day.

The location was the absolute best, couldnt have got any better. Some staff were lovely. They kept public areas very clean and had lovely garden upkeep and pool upkeep.

The hotel itself was pretty hard for my mum to navigate as she is elderly, uses a stick and has eye troubles. the kindly put our bedroom on ground floor but it still involves a flight of stairs down to the restaurant (there is a stair lift available but try telling your mother to use this 😂) and also a to flight down to the pool and bar and the beach is either down a slope or multiple flights. these stairs weren’t a problem if you are more able. also she struggled with the layout of the hotel and didn’t manage to learn her way around. Again, fine if you are younger 🙃

The location is fab! The staff were all friendly and helpful… I can’t fault any of them at any point from the restaurant staff, the entertainment team, the reception staff and cleaners. The food was nice but became a little samey samey and limited.

It is for families with kids or party people…Not couples… we didn’t think we’d have to constantly watch kids entertainment and have kids running everywhere. Also, the food is only good for people with really bland palettes… we went out instead. We didn’t sleep much because you can hear everything! People taking and slamming their doors in the hallway. People returning at 3 am and partying on the balcony.

Close to the beach and the inclusive drinks were cool but you have the pay for the cups (kind of weird- where is my cocktail glass??)

Meals could be a bit more varied. After 3 days, you're already a bit tired of it (if you choose all inclusive). But again, for the price we got, we weren't expecting much better than what we got. Again, crew at the restaurant very nice and hard working. I see some comments from other guests that complain about the friendliness of the staff but I always think that people react to what you are showing to them. If you're not friendly don't expect the other people to be to most friendly people in the world. They were there but they are not servants or slaves

Basically you get what you pay for. You can't expect to pay very little and have the experience of being at the Ritz. Price-Quality very good. Location was great. 1 minute from a great beach. Prices were excellent, staff was great, from the reception to the animation crew which isn't at the level of what we can see of a 5 star-resort in the Caribbean but really engaging and always doing the extra mile.
