It’s a real shame that the bottom of the hotel isn’t open, it must have been a great place when it was. It was also not great that the pool bar wasn’t open and we had to go into hotel bar for drinks.

Beach front location and really friendly helpful staff. Food was also lovely.

It was a shame there was only one restaurant/bar open.

Staff were so attentive, kind and caring. We arrived so late at night from a delayed flight- they did everything to make our checkin and our whole stay smoother and easier. They remembered us at breakfast every morning so we didn’t have to give our room number each time. They parked our hire car for us so we didn’t have to spend time looking for a parking space. Breakfast was fresh every morning with lots of options for adults and kids. The maids cleaned the room brilliantly and efficiently every day (removing all the sand from the floor!) The family room was very spacious.

The hotel needs renovation; the rooms have an outdated interior. • The restaurant on the ground floor is currently closed. • Bars are also closed, and the entire ground floor is inaccessible. • Breakfast is served in the sports bar, in the lobby near the reception, and by the pool instead of the large dining area shown in the pictures on Booking. • The breakfast setup is in a very small space, nothing like what is shown in the photos. • In the evening, football was playing on the TVs in the sports bar, which was distracting during dinner.

Friendly and helpful staff. • Great location, very close to the beach. • Delicious and varied breakfast. • Half-board option available. • Dinner included three dishes from the menu – very filling and absolutely delicious.

The hotel itself I didn’t like much. Definitely not a 5* accommodation. Uncomfortable bed, leaking bath, and location is not as presented online. If you want direct and easy access to Marbella, only by taxi. It’s a 90’ walk to Marbella center, and about 20’ to Puerto Banus.

The staff!!! The staff was brilliant! Kind, observant, accommodating! Every single one of them, from the reception, to the cleaners, waiters, chef and F&B managers.

The additional small bed for our 12 y.o. daughter was indeed quite small. A sofa-bed would have been better and not it the way during day time.

Location if perfect ! walking distance to the port of Banus. Room and terrace was bigger than expected. Breakfast was excellent. Very quiet environnement.

Hotel Guadalpín Banús has the charm of old times, set in an amazing beachfront location in Marbella. Just a comfortable 10-minute beachside walk to Puerto Banús, it offers a relaxing and pleasant stay.

We have been travelling to this hotel many times and our stay is always perfect. Quiet, relaxing place a few steps from the beach and Puerto Banus. Food is very good and the staff is just brilliant - especially the lady at the reception and Jose in the restaurant.

The hotel needs some modernisation. We would have liked USB sockets in the rooms.

The hotel was great and we loved our stay. The room with a jacuzzi was worth every penny. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. We really liked the fact that they served breakfast until 11.
