This was not a 5*hotel. Much of the crockery, ie plates and cups we used had chips in them. The 2 chairs in our room were very bad quality. The armchair had the corners of the arms torn. The 2nd chair was nothing more than a very old fashioned kitchen chair. Much of our bedroom furniture was very tired. Because the floor was tiled it did not look particularly clean and was dusty.

Reception staff, cafeteria staff and breakfast staff were all excellent, very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choices.Our room was a good size, the bathroom was exceptional with a shower over the bath, a separate shower, a separate toilet and bidet and double sinks.

The view of Toado was amazing. Breakfast was excellent. T We felt the staff didn't want to ,now us. They all had there jobs to do and had no time for anything else. Reception staff where great.

Location outside Toledo old city. Hotel is difficult to navigate between bedroom and different restaurants, we got lost & confused.

A traditional building originally with a history. Pet friendly with parking. Comfortable clean room with city view and sliding door to private terrace and garden access. Bathroom with bath (too large to fill completely) and separate shower. Loved the garden though we had wet weather. Great view of Toledo. Helpful friendly staff. Good meal restaurant. Breakfast fine.

Great setting on the hill looking towards Toledo’s historic old town. Interesting building converted from a cigar factory. Decoration was in keeping with an elegant Spanish style. Staff were friendly and had more English than we had Spanish. We had a dog friendly room that led out on to a patio and the gardens. The room was spacious with a large bed. Bathroom was well set up with two basins and a separate shower and bath. Shower gel, body cream, shampoo etc all provided. Heating worked well - it was minus 2 degrees at 9am in the morning. Good meal in the evening with lovely wine at a very reasonable price. We are happy to return on our way back to the Uk.

Not a big issue but would have been nice to allow the dogs on the outdoor terrace while we had a drink.

This was a stop over travel for the night. The hotel was great & would definitely recommend. As we were travelling with 2 dogs they were made to feel welcome although limited access around the hotel, but there were some excellent walks to take the dogs. Very close to the city to have a walk around. The restaurant was lovely & the staff very attentive.

The water in the shower was extremely hot and could only be cooled by running the hot tap in the sink. Plugs were hanging off the wall for the hair drier and heated towel rail in the bathroom, water and electricity, not a good combination.

A fabulous location, a fairly short walk to the historic town. Great views across the city. Really good breakfast.

We felt that the breakfast was lacking variety. More options should be added. The hotel is a bit far from the city by Toledo standards. Public transport is limited to 1 bus an hour. Otherwise you will either have to take a cab or walk a good part of a kilometer uphill, if you are not getting your own car.

The hotel has a nice view of the city. It was expansive and had nice rooms and balcony.

Breakfast was really awful. My partner ordered coffee and had to leave it untouched. I asked for tea and a cheap Pampadour brand of tea was all the gave me in a teacup containing lukewarm water. An establishment of that calibre should at least have teapots. So yes, breakfast was heavily disappointing!

Rooms are a bit out dated, bit intikt and smelly. In summer the corridors were very hot. Restaurant is mediocre.
