Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

The beautiful resort to chill. We booked all inclusive so that we need not to worry about anything. There were ample food options for everyone , you will surely like 1 or 2 thing if not all. The location close to many supermarket , lively bars but no where near to party places.

United KingdomEven though I had checked in online, on arrival there were more checks which took around 45 minutes. New staff were being trained but extra staff should have been on to cover and save the crazy waiting times.
Very clean and lovely rooms. Perfect for couples and families.

United KingdomThere were children running around the entertainment room and bar long after the kids entertainment finished ( that was 9) but there was no other bar to use. Check in took a long time despite me doing it online previously. It took over an hour and there was only two people in front of us.
The room, food and drink were very good. The staff were all excellent and friendly. The hotel was clean and there were a few nice touches like water in reception and fruit, pastries, cava and juice free there as well.

GermanyThe position is ideal in case you don't really plan to move around and will just stick to the surrounding beaches and areas. Going to Ibiza City was time-consuming and not the easiest to coordinate with public transportation - taxis were available but rather costly (around €50 from the hotel to Ibiza City). The hotel is tailored for families, so it's flooded with kids and toddlers - however there was a very nice animation service so kids did not bother at all and were always engaged. The pool is nice but there isn't much space in the sunbeds for all guests, which makes everyone run to secure a spot every morning.
The hotel is definitely meant for family vacations. There was a very big buffet every day, even with motto-dinners and different cuisines from all over the world, ensuring a good dinner to every possible taste. The swimming pool is nice and the rooms are very spacious. Staff is international and ready to accommodate every request. The nearby beach is a couple steps away and the sea is very neat - there are plenty of bars and there is the option to reserve umbrellas and sunbeds there directly (around €14 for both for a day).

SwitzerlandIt has very few facilities. In fact, in addition to the few facilities available like children's games, the pool table, table football, etc., I was surprised that you have to pay extra for all this; Something I had never seen in this type of hotel. Also, the environmental aspect: they should stop putting plastic bags in each trash can, have separate dispensers in the hallway, among other aspects that could be improved.
Great location and surroundings in the neighborhood. Restaurants, bars, etc., and two beaches nearby one of which is really fantastic! The pirate ship in the pool was also a good element for this first trip with our son. Rgearding the hotel itself, there are several aspects to review but in general has a very good value for money; it is correct. The staff was very friendly. Special thanks to Ingrid on the 5th floor, who was very kind with us and our needs.

Irelandno English/ breakfast tea bags at the buffet. tables at pool bar were always dirty. no information in reception about local area, things to do etc.
We spent 6 nights all inclusive. We stayed in the Suites (apartment) which gave us a superior living room, which was lovely. We'd a balcony with sea view overlooking the pool. The hotel is lovely, very spacious reception area and buffet restaurant. The food was really good, great selection at each meal time, and always a hot plate/cooked to order section with a couple of choices. If the buffet food wasn't hot enough there were microwave to heat it up. Theres also an excellent pool bar with snacks all day long. Entertainment in the bar at night was very good and the staff were excellent. The hotel is right on the beach of Es Cana, it's absolutely beautiful, crystal clear and perfectly safe. No big waves or big drop as you walk in. The general area is very quiet, it's a small resort so no problem walking around it. There's a bus 1 min walk from the hotel which brings you to and from the airport, it takes 1 hour and costs €4 per person (30 mins in taxi €45).

SwedenI booked a double deluxe Seaview. It said double bed in the booking, but I got two twin beds that kept sliding apart. There are easy solutions for that at IKEA, to make sure beds stay together... the staff blamed booking.com, saying that the information is wrong in their system, but the exact same thing happened a year ago and no one still hasn't updated it. The breakfast was good but the restaurant area is always very noisy and busy, so I'd recommend having breakfast somewhere else if you want a relaxed experience. Good to know: I asked for early check in and late checkout and I was happy to pay extra for it, but the reception said it's not available.
The location is great and the room was quiet.
