Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyThe beds!! There were 2 beds pushed together. If you are used to sleeping together, the smallest movement made the beds move apart, which was not nice! The hotel personal did their best to tie the bed frame legs together. But we made do with the single duvets..... The hotel is build on a steep hill, so going downtown or back up is only for the fittest people. The free bus fair is helpful, but evening trips are out as the last bus ride is at 19.00.
All personal were extremely friendly and always willing to please! Breakfast was excellent! Our pool apt. was big and modern. Rooms and bath were very clean. The hotel is well kept. The sportspool is large and covered, therefore nice and warm. Going to and from' kept us in shape!

The hotel is very well maintained. All areas very clean. Great customer service from the staff, who were always very helpful. Our apartment was spotless and very well catered, with all the essentials. The free shuttle service to main Puerto de la Cruz was very helpful as we didn’t realise how far away it was. A very enjoyable stay!

CroatiaThe bathroom could've been a little cleaner. Bar on the pool on the 5th floor - would've been great if it served coffee/tea. Air conditioning device in the room would be great in some occasions.
Ambient and the garden around the hotel was beautiful. We had a great garden view, the personell was extremely polite and helpful, the balcony was great, I loved the extra pillow, we got a small kitchen inside the room that we didn't expect so that was great too. The hairdryer in the bathroom was great! We could choose between the pools, the breakfast was great with lot of diverse choices, all in all - great value for money.

SpainThe maps given at the reception to find the 2nd parking and the way to the room. The top parking has not enough cameras. Our car got hit during the night and we had no way to know who did it.
The resort is very decent for the price paid for. The breakfast was good with a lot of variety. The employees have been wonderful and helpful.

GermanyThin walls thin and doors who let you hear all from the floor,. The climbig hill to come at hotel are not for everyone... Luckily are a bus shuttles from parking Centro Comercial Martiánez to hotel few times per day.. But Saturday just until noon, and Sunday dont come at all.
Hotel ok, friendly personal, nice to have a place to cooking /warm food if you need, inside of room. Bed and pillows comfortable and clean. Very good breakfast typ buffet with multiple meals. Are situated almost in a top of the hill, so from some rooms you can have nice view to all town until beach and ocean. From other building who is restaurant the view is occured and not so nice. From TNS airport you have bus 10 until intercambiador Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and after buses 100,102,103 until Puerto de la Cruz station Tucan or El risco-around 1km far. Direct bus 343 who go at both airports but come just few times per day(see bus programs online www.titsa.com)

PolandNoise in the evening - we got room one floor below the bar where karaoke and concerts start at 9 p.m. It was quite loudly until 11 p.m. The room was quite old-fashioned. Main bad was comfortable, additional (folded one) not so much.
Great choice of food for breakfast, good cofee. Large area, with mini-golf and play ground for smaller kids. We got really large apartment with big terrace, unfortunately just below the bar with karaoke and concerts

United KingdomWater pressure was very poor in the shower, and changed from hot to cold rapidly without any warning. it took 90 minutes on the airport shuttle bus going round Puerto de la Cruz, at the end of our holiday, plus the 90 minutes to the airport!! no help with cases which was hard work up hill from the airport shuttle bus, and also to get to the building we were in. Hard for us with heart problems and arthritus, and there was no warning of this on the write up Maintenance of all patio doors needed WD40 to slide easier, Ours was very heavy and I found it difficult to open... it sounded like other people were having similar problems. Uur shower cubicle was not attached to the wall fully and needed mending. The shower hose had been temporarily mended with tape and did not stay in the holder. Toilet pedal bin's pedal had been broken off , so not hygenic We paid for a superior twin room with kitchenette, but it was poorly equipped in comparison with other places we have stayed on Tenerife.
useful hotel-minibus shuttle service to town centre, BUT not on Sunday Amazing wall with 50+ lizards, guests were feeding them with bananas and bread helpful staff restaurant had excellent variety of food and it was worth going to the evening meal. We had paid for breakfast as part of our deal, and it was more food than we could eat. lift in our building was really quick and efficient (unlike another hotel we stayed in) Big, covered swimming pool, Saturday family carnival which involved probably every family in the area. This was joyful, and hilarious to see the dads and grandads in their tutus matching their families!

SwedenWell, we didn't enjoy waking up every day about 7-7:30 when the salt and pepper hit the tables because of the restaurant being just a few floors under our balcony. We heard everything that was going on outside through a small window meant to give us som air, but mostly gave us a lot of sounds instead.. The kitchen facilities lack a few things that I would say is basic, like a normal knife and a dish brush to clean the dishes. The hotel is a bit old, they were repainting our corridor while we were there, and not everything is in shape, but mostly everything works! We did enjoy our stay!
We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, it had a lot of different choices and was well organized. The park that belongs to the hotel is also wonderful! We loved having that just outside the room. The rooftop pool (naturists only) is a nice touch with a great view of the city and the surroundings. Nice views from the balcony also and from many parts of the hotel, since it's pretty high up. A lot of space in the room to put your things in, we loved that we could unpack our bags and be rid of them! The bathroom was also huge and had everything we needed.
