The only thing that was unexpected for us was that the the hotel was 70% occupied by the old people and we didn t have the dressing gown in the rooom which you usually find in a 4 stars hotel.

The hotel is amazing and it was worth it for 4 stars. Breakfast has a variety of options and even though we went to eat at 10 or 10:15 (breakfast is until 10:30) the plates were full of food. We didn t experience the feeling "they run out of a specific food". The elevators were the cherry on top, with mirrors you could see a nice view especially during the sunset. The pool area is very nice and quiet. The hotels walls are amazing, with a nice view too. The room is quite big and the staff cleaned very well every morning.

Only the fact that my hotel room was on floor -1 and balcony was so low that someone could just go in.

The only thing I could say it can be improved, and I had hard times having one, is the breakfast options. The food is almost the same every day and if you stay many days you kinda get tired of it. A bit more diversity would be great.

We liked the place entirely. Very friendly staff, great location, plenty of activities to do inside and around the hotel. From the receptionist, to the housekeepers and the maintenance personnel, everyone smiles and salutes you. Hotel bar was good with plenty of drinks to choose from plus they have 2f1 happy hours from 17-18:00. Pool area was amazing and the place overall is very clean.

Absolutely love this hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Room big and clean with balcony. Bed really big and comfortable. Bring a travel kettle if your English. Breakfast was included and great choice in a lovely room and by pool. Hotel is very relaxed lots of areas to sit. Entertainment most nights. Service great. Pool area really lovely lots of plants,palms and pretty. About 20 minute walk down steep hill to town. We loved everything. Visited Loro Parque and Mount Tiede. Siam Park in south and kids did quad biking. We would definitely come to Hotel Puerta Palace again and would highly recommend. Never felt like a Hotel, so friendly, spacious and pretty. Had a fabulous week ☺️ 🌟

Smoking allowed on balconies. The smell of smoke drifts into neighbouring balconies and rooms. They should have a non-smoking floor. A bit of a trek down to the sea-front but €5 taxi fare was fine.

Pool and garden area, beautiful view from our 3rd floor bedroom. Staff were helpful and friendly, especially Jesus at reception. Breakfast good but very busy at peak times. Entertainment in the evening was good fun.

Lots of activities - basketball, pool, mini golf etc. Pool area was lovely. Breakfast okay for a buffet. Good location for exploring the north of the island.

In a 4 star hotel I would not normally expect to be charged for the use of safe. There is a very simple solution to updating the decor of the rooms. The curtains in this baroque pattern design have no place in a modern island hotel. By changing just that one element into a neutral colour linen curtain, the rooms would feel fresher and more in line with the area. It would benefit the hotel greatly.

The hotel is clean and well maintained. There were maintenance works being carried out during my stay (that didn’t interfere with my stay). The team working there were kind, helpful and friendly. The hotel pool area is beautiful and very well maintained.

The Staff was very unpleasant, barely said welcome, no attention regarding the birthday of one of the client (60 years old).

The room is comfy, the cleanliness is impeccable. The pool and breakfast are just as good as the rest. Vera good destination, The position of the hotel is nice, despite being just on top of a hill toward the sea.

The hotel has its years, but it is a Canary style, which does not age at all. Super clean, the highest level staff and fresh, diverse food. I really appreciate super comfortable beds, silent neighbourhood and superior food.

Small naturist area on top floor of the hotel was definitely not nearly as clean as all other areas. The sun loungers and mattresses were dirty and all need replacing.

The staff were excellent, all except one woman on reception who was rude.

I walked back uphill on my first day, but it took more than 45 minutes. Luckily there is a free hotel bus except on Sundays.

Breakfast was plentiful with plenty of variety. The hotel is high above the town, but is walkable in about 15 minutes downhill. Room was very comfortable. I wanted to stay there for 2 extra days but they were fully booked, so had to move to another hotel.

There was no kettle in the room . That's all it would have made the stay perfect 👌 I had to get a coffee or tea downstairs which costs around 3 euro a time.

Everything was absolutely gorgeous I had a fabulous stay .the bed ,my room. The view ,the shower the pools and jacuzzi.
