Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SpainThere's a beach right near the resort, which is nice, but other than that the surroundings are a tourist wasteland, with overpriced restaurants and Polynesian-themed bars. Other than a walk to the beach to enjoy the sunset, there really isn't much exploring to be done on foot, in the immediate vicinity. Most of the guests were Spanish, German, French, English, or Italian. No Americans, as far as I could tell, and few if any Catalans. Also, the pool is the center of the resort. There aren't many other activities. If you don't like spending lots of time at a pool, go somewhere else.
This resort is designed for families with small children, and for that it's great. I would not recommend it for any other demographic. There are two beautiful pools (open from 8 am to 8 pm), one for kids, and one for parents with kids. The pools are for playing, although I suppose someone who gets there at 8 am would be able to swim laps without getting bonked by a large unicorn inflatable toy. The meals are served buffet style. While the food isn't up to Club Med standards (for example), it's perfectly good and there were a few nice surprises. In any case, kids will find plenty to eat. We were on half-pension, which meant breakfast & dinner. That was plenty of food, really. One day we were allowed to trade dinner for lunch, and that wasn't a problem. No drinks (except tap water) are included for lunch and dinner. Coffee (real espresso available), tea, juices, and bottled water (both regular and sparkling) are included with breakfast. And there's a huge machine that squeezes fresh orange juice (breakfast only). The rooms are not luxurious but are functional, clean, and comfortable, and our room (a typical family room, I think) had a bedroom for two and a living-room with a sofa / trundle bed. We have only one child, but a second child wouldn't have been a problem. There was also a tiny but useful kitchenette, complete with plates, sink, mini-fridge and cookware. The wifi is included...and mediocre. Even though our daughter is shy, she enjoyed spending a few hours each day at the mini-club. The staff were all very friendly and engaged. In fact, I would say that about everyone who works there: friendly, helpful people. The waiters in the restaurant, the people at reception, and the concierges. The concierges helped us to organize our excursions. The one we spoke to the most (Judit), was from a nearby town and had lots of good suggestions. The after-dinner shows were fun--and again, pretty much aimed at kids.

Perfect hotel for a family holiday! Everything is adapted to kids, from the room to the pool, animation, sport. Location is just infront of the great beach, so I reccomend the sea view room. The staff is also great, polite and smiling.

United KingdomThe sofa bed mattress was quite hard. They quickly resolved this by bring a mattress topper.
A lot of activities for children of all ages. Could not fault the facilities on offer Choice of meals was fresh and abundant and we enjoyed the different themes each night. The freshly cooked fish and meats was a bit hit and miss, dependant on the cook and how busy it got. But overall a 9 out of 10.... Appreciated that there was so much different fish to choose from each night. Entertainment varied. Catered for younger kids first and then adults.

United KingdomThe double bed was two twin beds and made up as such. Would have been nice to have an actual double. So these are being very fussy but.... Needed a bit more storage as a family of 4 in our room. Nowhere to hang long dresses in the wardrobe and even my husband's shirts creased at the bottom. Bedroom lights very bright. No dimmer light for bedtime reading.
- the swimming pools! The kids one is great for younger children and the larger one is huge and perfect for the whole family to enjoy. -kikkoland (kids play area) is a large area with so many activities for the kids to enjoy. You can choose to drop your kid off there or stay and play with them. There is a bouncy castle, a mini soft play with slides and ball pit, playground, arts and crafts, giant building bricks and a special baby area with swings and toys for younger children. This area is hugely under-advertised and such a pro for families with young children. - las basilicas restaurant was our favourite. We.have stayed at multiple family hotels now and this is definitely the best buffet. The fresh pasta and pizza every night was delicious.. - we hired a buggy for the whole week for 15 euros - there was an onsite doctor. He came within 5 minutes of us calling him to see both our children who needed antibiotics. - there is a handy tunnel for access to the beach - evening entertainment. The most popular kids disco we have seen and some fun shows such as acrobats and magic bubbles. - I also want to add the hotel must have taken into account the reviews that stated knives were kept in low down drawers. They had installed a knife rack up high in the kitchenette so my toddler just played with the recycling bins rather than the knives. - not too noisy. Some family hotels have loud music playing all day. This wasn't the case. There was the odd loud aqua aerobics class but it wasn't long and the music was very fun. We would recommend it to friends.

Czech RepublicThis was our first time holiday with kid in this type of resort and I was really astonished. We decided according the very good reviews and it was worthy of it. All people working there are really kind and trying as hard as possible to make your stay memorable. As it is "family" place, there were kids of very small age everywhere, and I liked a lot the preparedness of all facilities for it, especially two restaurants, where you automatically get a chair for a small kid, even a bib. Such small details surprised me and I admire the all employees who were managing very well all types of situations, mainly the busy breakfast and dinners, where kids are running everywhere. All spaces all cleaned every day, the access to beach is very practical and easy, the nature around is beautiful. We had a really great stay, thanks a lot.

United KingdomOnly two pieces of hopefully constructive feedback on the rooms: 1. Within five minutes my two year old had opened the cutlery drawer in the kitchenette, which contained the sharp kitchen knives. We moved them, but maybe they can be placed in a rack in the overhead cupboard. 2. We loved the little sink in the bathroom for kids. Our toddler wasn’t quite tall enough to reach it though - a little stool that could be slotted underneath it would be great so little kids could reach the taps.
Travelling with young kids can be hard, this place makes it seem easy. Everything is so well set up for families: the pools and entertainment were great fun, the food was good, the staff were friendly - it gets everything right.

PortugalSome small things could be improved. It would be nice to have some bottles of water in the apartment, it is barely acceptable that you could only change towels in pre-determined days; it is hard to understand why fresh orange juice is only available at breakfast some days per week...
Very good option for families with children. The apartments are great, everything is for kids (the apartment has a small bathroom with a children's toilet bowl, a children's basin, etc.). The pools are great. Location is also very good, with direct access to the beach

United KingdomVery little to dislike, being very picky I would say the shower door was a little awkward.
Great selection and quality of food at both restaurants, we loved the daily grilled steak and fish to order. The animation team delivered a very good balance of activities during the day. Our children didn't go to the kids club but they did take part in some of the activities when they came to the main pool, equally we enjoyed the aqua aerobics sessions which we've never done before! The beach is amazing with warm clear waters, very easy to get to from the hotel. Tip - there is a box before the beach tunnel where people leave behind sand and pool toys, check this box before going to the supermarket!

United KingdomI can't think of any downsides, but 1 thing I would mention is that I would have loved to upgrade to all inclusive, however I found that a little pricey. With all inclusive we had a 1 year old so did not over indulge in drink and had to go back to the room at 19.00 each day to put him to bed, so all inclusive would not have been worth it to us with us not drinking very much alcohol. It's a shame because it would have been nice to pop to the bar throughout the day and not have to go out each day to get lunch.
Very clean, almost on the beach, great atmosphere, friendly staff, fantastic facilities.

NetherlandsWe believe the food could be better. The hotel hosts a lot of people so I guess it's not easy to keep a high standard but that is a very important aspect for us and it was below expectations. Sometimes less is more.
The hotel facilities are very good and there are plenty of spaces and activities for kids. It's a truly family hotel. The swimming pool is great and the staff is very nice.

Spainnothing we didn’t like, maybe food could be even better. because there was a lot of choice but quality could be even higher.
the kids entertainment is thw best we could expect!! as well as the spaces available for them to play, the additional activities available and the possibility kids have to stay among them. we didn’t use all of the services they offered because our kid is young but I bet in couple of years kids would enjoy it even more. other things we liked, the many things at kids height.

IrelandThere is nothing I can fault. My husband didn't like the bed mattress and pillows but that is a personal preference of his (me and my son slept very well).
Loved everything, particularly the Kikoland activities and the excellent service of the entire staff. We are not usually an "all inclusive" type of family because we like to explore new places and restaurants etc but we ended up spending most of our vacation in the resort because it had absolutely everything we needed/ diversity in food and activities and many lovely beaches nearby.
