Most staff don't speak English, but you can get by...Laura on reception is very helpful. Cleaning staff were lovely, but some other staff looked tired and like they didn't want to be there. Large parties of Spanish guests staying when we were there, they were friendly. Lifts are slow and you will have to queue to get into one..

Nice clean hotel, dated in parts, comfortable bed and pillows, nice balcony tho small.. rooms small also, and walls are paper thin...we had half board, breakfast was very nice, dinner was a bit repeative, if you like pastas and salads you'll be OK, deserts were always lovely, nice dining room , good seating system, however peak season may change this...good value for money, about ten min walk into the main part of Calella, supermarket across the rd for emergencies...hotel was quiet at night, odd door banging but nothing major, again hotel was not full to capacity in May when we travelled, all in all fairly good stay 8/10...not for young people, mainly middle aged guests, thus the good behaviour, saw no facilities for children .. Callela itself is safe to walk around at night. We saw no anti social behaviour...hotel is ten minutes from a lovely beach...you can pay for late check out if your room is not going to be occupied the same day...20e till 2pm they charged us...normal check out is 10am I think...found this helpful. A safe costs 10e deposit and 3e per day to rent

Good location, I done the Iron Man over here and it was perfect location for that. Very close to the finish line and small walk to the swim start. Went half board and I liked how you are allowed the option to have the lunch or the dinner. So, you can change it up each day. Very good service plus the food is good too

One of two coffee machines broke one morning, so long queue for hot drink. A kettle in room would have been useful.

The room was very small and needed refurbishment. During our 7-night stay our bed sheets were not changed not even once. The elevator was too slow and it was not enough for such a huge hotel. During the first part of our stay it was too crowded during the meals and we needed to wait in line to enter the restaurant and then to get food. The staff at the reception was not very friendly.

The location was great. The food was nice, especially the dinner. The staff left us a bottle of wine which was a nice touch.

I didn't like the fact that two double beds were reserved, and there were four single beds available, as well as a bunk bed, which is not suitable for our girls.

What I didn't like at this place is the restaurant.. If you pay for all inclusive and then you need to wait for food..food wasn't that nice I am sorry but everyday rice was uncooked..only what I like was breakfast..and the stuff at the kitchen omg...they faces...not friendly at all. It's look like they don't like they work maybe or I don't know..but it's.nice to smile at people if they ask you for something...

My son has a nut allergy and, after talking to the head chef that evening, the next day key dishes were labelled with allergens and vegetarian information symbols - great response. Luggage room available which was great as we had an evening flight.

The fruit and baked goods were stale - advise to go down very early. There was a hole in the ceiling of the bathroom and it was leaking. Received a lecture from the male when I asked to bring some breakfast up to my badly burnt partner.

The young lady at the reception was very kind helping me with the travel system. There is a pass through for the beach very close to the hotel but the train station is a 20 minute walk.
