Amazing hotel with fantastic staff and excellent food and drink. Would highly recommend the all inclusive stay

Buffet plancha cooking station could have done with some better quality meat eg better steak, maybe some lamb etc Carvery roasts should have been on every night. House red wine not great. Object to being charged for 'sodastream" carafe water. Steam room was dangerously hot. Santa Ponca not the greatest area. Maybe not the correct area for this comment...bit of an afterthought...there is no real need to pay the extra for the fancy rooms with the private hot tubs.. they're all cheek by jowls with the room next door and are overlooked by the higher floor rooms.

Hotel cleanliness, variety of food , excellent sunbathing terrace and main pool. Fantastic breakfasts. The staff were unfailingly helpful, smiling, and courteous....a huge asset to the hotel. And of course , best of all, the glorious view of the bay

The staff at the restaurant is rushing so much. Several times they attempted to take my plate and i had to tell them that i am not finished with my food. It makes you feel like you have to eat quickly and leave.

The view is amazing! Beds are comfortable and the room was clean. Food is good.

More flavourful veggie option for breakfast however it was still good !

We loved the fact that it's close to the water that you literally get off your sunlounger, walk a few steps and can jump in the sea! The VIP package was splendid. (Junior Suite) the heated infinity pool was an amazing addition to our April stay as the sea water was still cold. Good veggie options for dinner. We had an absolutely great relaxing time. Staff are brilliant, attentive, friendly. The activities were insane, I made a lovely key ring and infused alcohol another day. But they even had tote bag painting and sunset yoga?! 10/10 recommend.

Our shower was a bit broken. Not the main shower just the weird one that shot out jets at various heights. It was fine and we didn't care.

It wasn't very clear that most of the pool photos were of areas that only certain rooms were allowed to access. It was disappointing to not be able to use them as they were so quiet.

On-site restaurant was spectacular! Activities, view and facilities were all fantastic too.

One of the best breakfast selection I’ve experienced on holiday fantastic choice. Staff were excellent from check in, Guiliano with glass if Cava, all staff always acknowledged you which is nice, even the cleaner was very happy and gave you a nice greeting.

Santa ponsa itself is just an OK resort.

The hotel is fantastic with a great location and food is excellent. I would not be a huge fan of buffet style food, but the quality and selection for lunch and dinner is superb. The star exclusive section of the hotel is particularly good and would recommend paying the extra for these rooms.

We have been holidaying at this hotel for 10 years. The staff are excellent especially the bar and restaurant. I always say it may be a 4 star hotel but it has 5 star service.

Gym wasn’t good. Water machine never worked. No music and too small!

Given that the atmosphere is so relaxing it would have been good to hear background relaxing music in the restaurant. It felt a little sterile to have nothing to listen to. It's a pity that there is no shop selling locally made gifts.

Knowing Iberostar hotels to be of a high standard , we chose this Adult Only to totally relax. The view is wonderful and so peaceful. The food at each sitting was wonderful. A great choice of food and always so fresh and tasty.

Parking wasn’t difficult but was always interesting…

Set on rocks just above the high water line. Far enough away from the noise of Santa Ponca to be totally relaxing. Suite had huge deck with private jacuzzi, cabana and outdoor shower. Staff and breakfast were amazing. Pool ladder out of the ocean for anytime ocean free diving or swimming. Spa services were very good. Clean hotel and fantastic views across the bay. Will definitely stay here again.

Sat at table at pool bar for 10 minutes no one came near me, went out and went to a local restaurant for lunch. The swimming pool was very hot they need to be able to cool the temperature of the pool in very hot weather, I felt like Iwas in a pot of stew !

Sunbeds reserve by other guests before we’d had our breakfast.

This is an adults only and suites only hotel both of which are big pluses. The location on a beautiful bay is exceptional. All rooms have sea view. We liked the reception area with low level discreet desks for checking in and the free drink on arrival. That was very relaxing. The staff are exceptional and make this hotel really pleasant for the traveller - friendly and approachable but not too friendly. It is less than half an hour’s drive from the airport. There are local shops and restaurants a short walk away.
