Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomWe would prefer a shower enclosure rather than shower curtains. This will reduce general water spillage on the floor and prevent the curtains from getting in the way.
The host was very helpful and informative. He looked after us very well.

United KingdomNothing to dislike
Excellent location with stunning views over Mijas Pueblo and the coastline. Received a warm welcome from our host Henrik, nothing was to much trouble throughout our stay. The apartment was clean and tidy and within easy reach to all local shops and restaurants yet very quiet. An apartment where you can relax, sitting on the balcony with a glass of vino enjoying the panoramic views was a delight. Highly recommended a visit.

United KingdomThere is quite a steep hill and then steps up to the apartment. Can be a bit tricky after sampling some of the delites the village bars and restaurants offer.
The location was good, the views are amazing, Henrik was so helpful and kind and the village of Mijas is so beautiful.

DenmarkNothing. We liked everything 🥰
We really loved everything🥰. It was one of the best holidays we ever had☀️, we stayed for 14 days and we were sad to leave. Henrik our host was very helpful, friendly and a great cook 😋 From day one we felt at home in the nice and big apartment (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and lots of private outdoor space including the amazing roof terrace with stunning views). We would love to come back and will highly recommend Villa Panorama. Mijas Pueblo is one of the coziest, cleanest and friendliest towns we have been to.

IrelandFor most people, a car would be a necessity as the property sits at the top of a steep incline.
Villa Panorama Mijas Publo fulfilled and maybe even surpassed our expectations. Home from home, we thoroughly enjoyed our beautifully appointed private space. The views were spectacular. Situated on the edge of the town meant we enjoyed tranquillity but also that the bars resturants and shopping area were close by. The mountain offered numerous walks of different fitness levels. The accommodation oozed character and quirkiness. An artists dream with a bohemic feel. The pool area, a shared area with 2 other villas, offered mountain and town views and a restful place, especially in late afternoon and evening. Our host Henrik was very attentive. Nothing was too much for him. surprise watermelon at the poolside, some refreshments available in our fridge on arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.

Czech Republicquite old fashioned bathroom equipment, but that´s not a thing, you´re travelling for..;)
Really stunning place with beautiful views on a village and a bay below. Henrik, the owner, has a kind personal approach, he also wrote us in advance, so everything was clearly explained and finally waited for us with a "welcome beer" and keys..;) A villa offers you many relaxing points. Grocery & a village centre is 10 minutes by walk, parking available right at a villa.

EstoniaThere is nothing to complain about. Even in winter, the room was warm.
Everything was wonderful for us because the house was completely to our taste - like in a fairy tale (but not a castle, rather a forest folk one). We love small cozy spaces. Also, interesting nooks and crannies in garden with bushes and trees. We have a large dog, and him was very comfortable in the garden (pets are free - that was also the reason why we chose this accommodation). The house is peaceful and quiet. Parking is available, getting the key is easy, and the host promptly showed everything necessary. All the needed utensils, etc., are available. The panorama was, of course, fantastic - from morning to evening, a pleasant sun and a gentle breeze on the balcony. It's possible to sunbathe by the pool or lounge in the shade. Everywhere, there are oil paintings - the host is an artist. Very caring, helpful, and friendly. Everything is close by - about 15 minutes to the seaside, 30 minutes to Marbella, and 40 minutes to Malaga. The charming town of Mijas is easily accessible from the garden through interesting winding paths and stairs. At least 2 grocery stores, etc. The town has many nice, cute places to eat and exciting activities (e.g. chocolate making, riding donkeys, etc.).

United KingdomLeaving to come home.
We arrived and Whatsapped Henrik who met and welcomed us to his charming villa at the top of Mijas. The views were spectacular from our roof terrace and a never ending source of amazing photographs. A short walk down the hill to the village of Mijas, with bars, restaurants and supermarkets and just a 6€ cab back up the hill to ‘home’. We felt as though we were the only ones in the villa, it was quiet, calm and relaxing, a real get away from it all. We were happy with everything, we sought a rustic away from the crowds short break and thats what we got. Don’t go to this gem of a place if you are looking for 5 star hotel-like facilities, it is not like that. What you will get is charm, peace and a bohemian laid back vibe away from the stresses of todays lives. Wi-fi was good enough if you really felt the need to work remotely. Thank you Henrik and Frida.

United KingdomWalking up the hill to get to it takes some getting used to with a very steep hill and unsteady steps. You need to be reasonabley fit to stay there unless you drive up and down each time.wouldnt suit anyone with any disabilities , although you wouldnt have the amazing view without the climb.
Best view in mijas. Henrik the host is a nice guy and very accommodating. 10 ninute walk into middle of village. The accommodation has a laid back hippy vibe to it which I liked. Gardens are pretty.

BelgiumThe furniture was old and worn and the kitchen and bathrooms were very dirty. The utensils (pans, pots, cutlery) were not usable as all were rusty. If you do not mind the dirt, then this place is fine for you. This may explain the overall good reviews that misled us. The apartment is also very moist. There was one dehumidifier which was not enough to get the moisture out. This might not be the case in summer with all windows open and more airflow though.
The location was really great with a great view from the double terrace.
