Make people pay there room bill at check in! This happens with 99.9% of all hotels. For some reason this hotel opts for paying at check out. Issue is I almost walked out without paying, so use to that and thought it was done at check in, heck, you already have customers providing personal info at check in, just do everything at once!

Breakfast was very disappointing. After good food for dinner breakfast was poor. We had to take our own cereal and peanut butter. There was almost no edible fruits, no toaster (the bread had to be the previous night's leftovers), and the pastries were stale. Although the hotel advertises a pool and gym etc. these are at an extra cost. The hotel is an ex-Scandic hotel but is now in need of a complete refit from the 1970s Soviet era decore. The bathrooms are very small and most fittings in the room are either broken or in need of replacement.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our original room was on the sunny side of the building and without air conditioning it was unbearably hot so the staff upgraded us to a cooler and much larger room. The WiFi was fast, easy to use and reliable. Although the dinner menu was limited it was good quality, tasty and reasonably priced (for Scandinavia). The hotel is in a great location with direct access to walking paths around the lake and easy walking distance to the town centre. The parking is free and easy to access.

Could not find a way to turn up the heat. The bathroom floor was cold. Would have wished for more sockets to enable charging multiple devises.

Pet friendly, bed was very comfortable and the room size was good. The breakfast was ok and there was enough food and the breakfast restaurant was clean.

Pictures are misleading! The Hotel does not have a pool, the pool belongs to the gym next door and you have to pay extra! The furniture, bathrooms and beds are outdated and need some investment. There is NO possibility to charge your electric vehicle at the hotel!

The old hotel is in urgent need of a full renovation. The carpets in the corridors are in poor condition, worn and outdated, contributing to an unpleasant odor throughout the space. The bathroom in the room suffers from issues such as a broken shower door and a lingering bad smell. Additionally, the room’s furniture is old, scratched, and shows significant signs of wear, further diminishing the overall guest experience. The shower in the basement sauna and the benches are too bad.

Very very noisy and loud central air condition in my room and bathroom too. The furniture had seen it's better times, but OK functioning. Sun shades on window were partly broken. Ih hotels bar/restaurant only one staff person was working, so waiting times for order at both were long in the evening.

Good breakfast. Great location. Hotel as a whole is OK/good. Small sauna in room is a nice bonus (Regular room for two). Bed was good. There is a working table in room too. OK if you travel for work and not for leisure with your family.
