Historical château, very well restored, decorated in French château style. Immaculate building,clean with beautiful garden, and surrounding buildings all very well restored. Room was spacious but less ornate however the most comfortable bed, quite area and dark room ideal for a perfect sleep. Very highly recommended Restaurant of very high standard. Staff extremely polite with good English.

Our second night, the chateau was locked up by 20.00 when we returned as there was an event on in the orangerie. No bar or restaurant facility for us on our return.

We arrived late and we weren’t able to charge the car anymore. Maybe a tip: allow late check in to contemplate charging the car. Apart from that: superb!! Magnifique !

The restaurant menu was very limited with dishes for specialist tastes. The restaurant and bar was understaffed it took a long time to order drinks with one lady serving in restaurant & bar. We ordered one pudding which took 1 hour to be served.

the room we had in the secondary building, not the main building as we had expected, a superior double if i remember correctly, whilst being comfortable was priced above its grade. The room was fine but wasn't 300euro per night.

The location was very peaceful, easy to find and well kept. We had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent and very good value for what we ate, every course was beautifully put together, Very tasty. The staff were very busy with a full restaurant but made great efforts to provide a good service. Highly commended !!

No-one on hand to assist. No cold milk, for example, so someone had to go and find the chef to ask for some. The plain yoghurt - though just within it's use-by date - seemed off to me and I did not eat it.

Location was fine. lovely views of the grounds. bacon and scrambled egg was welcome.

Paid 253 euros for accommodation on payment produced 252.95 not enough !!! My wife had to rummage in her bag for 10cents so we could be returned 5.cemts ! Dear dear ! Bearing in mind we had dinner at a cost of 175 euros . What a pity to spoil a wonderful experience for 5 cents !!!!

Really interesting place to visit, we were not disappointed with staying there. Huge green area around for walking, quite nice rooms (although I would suggest to check twice if this is in the castle or in the building closer to the reception. Castle room had bath in the center of the room which may not work for everyone). We didn't take breakfast so can not provide any feedback for that one.

The food, and the restaurant was very much below par. For the price we'd have expected the staff to have told us they were understaffed in their restaurant and we'd have had food in the pretty village within walking distance. The food was cold, under cooked and late. There were tables with other patrons waiting for their starters - who'd arrived and ordered before us.

The hotel is in an amazing setting, the presentation is exactly what we'd hoped for. Staff were great. The comfort of the room was exceptional.

A number of the rooms are in cottages in the grounds of the chateau. We were excited about staying in a castle but we didn’t realise our room would be the top floor of a small outbuilding. We arrived in the evening and there was no bar or food service other than a full restaurant meal so we didn’t actually spend any time in the beautiful chateau itself.

A beautiful chateau in we’ll maintained grounds, near a lovely village. Free parking and a clean room. Friendly staff at check-in.
